Very friendly and kind staff. Extremely flexible with arriving late in the evening and leaving suitcase there for a couple of days. Nice ambiance and decor in the common areas. Simple but quiet and comfortable room. Nice breakfast.

Excellent location. The apartment (room 301 was huge with fully equipped kitchen and would comfortably slept 5 (we had 4). Breakfast was lovely and staff was so nice. They accommodated by bringing a fan when asked bc dtr was sick and top floor is hot during the the day. Nothing. All great!

The location was just blocks off the Plaza de Armas. They were wonderfully accommodating of my dogs. I really appreciate that as I am moving to Peru so they are a non-negotiable. :) We had a great experience!

Little kitchen and sitting area separate from the bedroom give us space to spread out. Accommodation was clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. Good value for money.

Nothing. Unfortunately this accommodation was a complete let down. The staff were friendly but couldn't communicate in English so were unable to resolve the issues we had. The apartment was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned. The sheets and the one blanket that was provided were covered in hair, the duvet didn't have a cover on it. The shower plughole was blocked so the water pooled in the bottom of the shower, the shower temperature was cold which they weren't able to fix. The bathroom ceiling was moldy and the paint was peeling, clearly lacking any ventilation and felt and smelt damp. The kitchenware was not clean. Nothing about this accommodation was comfortable, and after arriving late in the night after a 4day trek, this was extremely disappointing.

The hotel location is very at the heart of the city, a quiet place, but warm and beautiful. There was no elevator in the building but the stuff was very helpful to the travelers who came with luggage. A little bit cold during the nighttime even there’s a calentador

The staff is phenomenal! We loved the location and the facility, but the staff made our stay unforgettable!

Hotel Casa Cavassa Centro Histórico Cusco is a small and charming hotel in a perfect location, just steps from the Plaza de Armas. We stayed seven nights and felt very comfortable throughout our visit. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and helpful, the rooms are modern and very clean, and housekeeping does an excellent job. Breakfast is also good and a nice start to the day.

Centrally located and convenient to the plaza de armas. Loud and open to the outside.

The location is great, close to central plaza with lots to do within walking distance. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quaint with lots of character. The shower water didn’t get hot until the last of the three nights we stayed there, staff said the hot water heater was broken and would be fixed by tomorrow but never happened until two nights later. We are not fluent in Spanish and our friend who came to get us from the hotel kindly asked the staff about the water issue in fluent Spanish to ensure good communication, this set off the manager, who I assume took offense to someone not staying there asking on behalf of her friends who were staying about the stay issues. She started to yell at my friend and escort her out of the premises. VERY, VERY rude of her. Also… there are cats roaming the hotel. For me, this wasn’t an issue I love cats. But for my friends, they didn’t like the fact that every morning and just about every time you opened your door the cats would run into the room and would hide under the chair until you asked the hotel staff to get them back. If someone is severely allergic to cats, DO NOT STAY HERE. They would also wrap up breakfast early when they state that it’s from 6-9am, but show up at 8 and it’s all put up. Another issue with our room was the lock, the lock “worked” per se, but if you pushed the double doors the came right open despite it being “locked”. The only way to ensure the doors were properly locked were if you latched it from the inside, which is good if you’re in the room or just use one door but if it came undone or someone didn’t latch it, anyone could get into the room while you are gone.

We left early but one of the girls fix a bag is good things to eat in the road

Our room was facing the street and it was impossible to sleep because there A LOT of street noise

This was my second stay in this hotel. I did some hiking between my stays. I was allowed to leave my bags there; it made hiking much easier. Nice, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Fast WiFi. Excellent location. I loved their "security cats". They always came to me when they saw me. Well, I petted them every now and then, though...

Excellent location close to the Plaza de Armas (=center). Fast Wifi. Good breakfast. Nice, friendly staff.

The bathroom was small and smelly.

Location was very convenient, and the facility was very secure. The room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was on the firm side. Our room had a large dresser, which helped organize our thing during a multi-night stay. Shower was nice and hot. Free tea is a plus. You get a standard Peruvian continental breakfast, and they'll make eggs for you. Staff was kind and accommodating, when available. There are 2 cats in the facility as well. The shower was nice and hot, but the bathroom had a bad odor of mildew. The staff was not always available, and was difficult to get quick response. But when you can find them, they are very attentive and reasonable. No kitchen towels and no dishrack, so I wasn't sure how to wash any of the dishes without leaving a puddle on the countertop. At night, you can hear music from the neighbors, so remember to bring ear plugs.

Quaint, cozy hotel in a great location, only a couple blocks from the the plaza. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. They made the hotel special! Nice breakfast too. Sometimes it was a little chilly in the room, but the staff made a fire and that really helped. Plus, they provided a portable heater.

Nothing they were so accompanying!
