The facilities, amenities, location and activities are all wonderful. Those things alone would make Viajero an excellent choice while staying in Cusco. But, what really makes this place exceptional is the staff!! From the people at the front desk, to those in the restaurant/bar, at the tour desk, the security desk, the cleaning crew and maintenence team - every single person I interacted with (over the course of 2+ weeks) was kind, helpful and went the extra mile to fulfill every request and make sure my needs were met! I can't emphasize enough how much I enjoyed my time at Viajero Cusco!

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. My room was amazing and the people and happy vibe at the hostel were great. I’m looking forward to staying in all of their properties on my next trips abroad. People were often loud in the common areas late at night or really early in the morning.

Location is so good, all the staff was good, cleaning staff, security staff, especially Astrid y Elvira at front desk was so helpful, thank you Despite having a goose-down duvet, I felt a bit cold at night; the bathroom layout is very cramped and small; the luggage storage area is awkwardly placed, making it very difficult to put bags there (so they end up far away); it is terrible that the towels have to be rented; and the lack of complimentary drinking water is a downside.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Elvira, Gia, and Mel made sure I had everything I needed. Excellent for female solo travelers!

The ambience was excellent. Also the facilities were clean and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely consider Viajeros for my next stay. Staff members Abdi, Elvira and Gia made the experience much better and easy and were always willing to help. Also had a cooking class with Beltran and learn how to make authentic ceviche was very insightful.

Very well organized, clean, lively but with quiet rooms as the bar is in the annexed house. Friendly and helpful staff. It was a great experience even for an older solo traveler like me. The location is perfect, a couple blocks from Plaza de Armas.

Not as good as the Viajero in Lima
-
Pretty building Messy shared bathrooms People having sex in 12 people dorms Very loud music until 2 am in front of dorm building The travel company they work (to which I payed $350 dollars for a machupichu tour) let me stranded in Aguas calientes more than an hour without communication or notice

Mel, Elvi and Abdi are really nice and helped me a lot with all my questions. I have been traveling for 5 months in south america and this hostel is the best one I have been to. Defenetly go there:)

The hostel is good located. Very sociable (many tourists). They have some tours. Tea and drinking water for free. Smoking area. Hot water in the shower. Clean. Cozy. Spacious. No kitchen to cook or to keep your food

We could hear everyone above us and just outside the room going for a smoke or waking up very early for excursions so wouldn't recommend for light sleepers like me.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in.
