Kokoa Hotel Cusco

Location is good, a few minutes walk to Plaza de Armas. Breakfast was good as well, with enough breakfast items (meat, cheese, cereals, different type of bread, fruits, etc.). I like that the hotel provides packed breakfast when you have a tour that leaves early in the morning. The room is kept clean everyday during our stay. The room is not big but comfortable.

The attention was really warm and helpful, really nice people! The location is really good too. It's not so confortable, the bathroom doesn't have door so the water spreads everywhere.

Have to pay on place and no loundry.

Kokoa Hotel is amazing for a budget hotel. It is centrally located in Plaza Mayor de Cusco, where you can pretty much walk and see most of the historical sights in the Cusco center. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by a friendly face. The staff also said that they can provide us with breakfast to-go if we have a tour scheduled that requires us to leave early before the hotel's designated breakfast hours. We just had to notify them a day before. The beds were also comfortable. The blankets were warm. The bathroom has sufficient amenities (shampoo, soap, towels, and a hair dryer). The room was big enough for my family of four to move around. When our flight was bumped to the right, the staff was so helpful, they extended us another day without issue. They were also accommodating when we asked for a late checkout because our flight was not until later in the afternoon. They watched our luggage even after check-out, so we could enjoy the city center before departing. I think it is common in Peru for hotels or hostels not to have air conditioning units (A/C). The only downside to not having A/C or ventilation is moisture accumulation. The bathroom ceiling in our hotel room formed moisture droplets. An additional fan or an air dehumidifier in the room would help alleviate this issue. However, it is a minor inconvenience. We asked the cleaning staff to provide us with fresh towels almost daily because the towels stayed damp even when hung to dry.

A little more colors in the hallways would be great. Also, we found breakfast to be so-so. Not a big complaint, but it always felt like something was missing and coffee appeared to be instant, not fresh; or is a very peculiar variety.

Good value for the price. Walking distance to the city center. Many restaurants and cafe around the hotel. It is a bit close to the bars and club. the rooms were not sound proof. The bed could be a little bit more comfortable.

The breakfast wasn't amazing. The rooms aren't soundproof, so you can hear the traffic.

Very friendly staff. Walking distance to the historic centre. It would have been a great experience, if each room had a mini fridge. Also unfortunately the wifi is a bit unreliable.

The hotel is in a very quiet location, though only 5 minutes walk from plaza of the armor! So close to everything. The facility is new, clean and comfortable, the breakfast is good. Staff is super friendly and always ready to help! Great value for the price. I have already recommended the hotel to my friend. N/A

A lot of google translate had to be used. The breakfast provided didn’t say what anything was, and was bare. There weren’t any elevators to the floors. Our shower was missing the door so the water kept spraying the bathroom floor. There was also no thermostat or heater.

We loved the excellent service we always get at Kokoa. The staff is very professional, kind, and friendly. Edwin, Evelyn, and everyone else are so welcoming and helpful. We also love our room, the comfortable bed, and the shower, among other things. Breakfasts at Kokoa are pleasant and delicious; they make your eggs as you wish! Everything is fantastic at Kokoa, it's the best place to stay if you're in Cuzco. Nothing. The only thing we might change is the music in the dining room. Other than that, everything is perfect.

The hotel is very new and the staff is incredibly easygoing and prestative. They have a good space to leave the luggages and the breakfast is delicious. The location of the hotel is around 3min by foot from the main square of Cusco. Also, the shower and volume of water is great. This was my second time staying with them and I would definitely come back again. The only downside to the property is there is no elevator and some rooms are not that spacious.

Staff were very friendly. Allowed us to check in early when available. Also upgraded us which was a lovely honeymoon touch. We had to leave before breakfast service so they kindly made us a take away pack. If I had to say something the take away breakfast, although grateful to have it organised featured a sandwich with two dry pieces of break and a single slice of cheese. Was very basic and we just picked the cheese out.

The staff Very noisy neighborhood because of clubs. Bed was very small for 2 adults and the rooms are also very small

The room was big, comfortable and clean. Super comfortable beds. Had all kinds of tea available for you all day. The location is PERFECT. And the team is super super nice ♥️ The shower is great, and we had hot water, but sometime it wasn't very very hot as we would want for cold days. And we had sunlight from the roof which wasn't always great when we wanted to sleep in dark room.
