Good location, cheap. Very friendly staff. I felt safe and secure. Good wifi. VERY noisy floors. You couldnt do anything without loud squeaking. Plus you can hear everyone else. Place is very old, bed wasnt too comfy. Shower had hot water problems but was resolved. I wouldnt stay here again if i had alternatives.

Pretty good location (10min from city centre), good wifi, a lot of space Hot water sometimes not available. Extremely cold room without windows. Dogs around the facilities barking at guests (do not go there if you‘re afraid of dogs). We waited 30min to check in.

The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. They both speak fluently french which could be handy for the french travellers who don't speak spanish. They have lots of good advices to provide, as they have been local guides for a long time. Location is great, less than 10 min walking distance from the main plaza. Relatively quiet neighborhood. Comfortable overall The shower was alternating between cold and hot water, issue might need to be looked at. Also starting to be a little cold in the rooms, might be worth availing heaters for the comfort of the guests. Blankets are warm though.

Really cheap, decent room. The guy was really nice and helpful The room wasn't that nice, quite unfresh, and there was trouble with the hot water so my partner could shower with hot water but I couldn't. No window, except on the bathroom. But it also was very cheap so I wasn't expecting anything else

Very communicative staff upon our arrival and very nice (when they're around). Location- walking distance from the center, and away from the noise Feels like a very neglected place. Room was Ok, but the setting - a neglected yard, completely dark at night, squeeking floors... During our first night there there was no staff during the evening/ night. Location- away from the center.. not very far, but we were there during a fastival, and late at night could not avoid drunk people on the empty street of the hostel :( Hot water in the shower come and go. The door to the bathroom didn't actually close. Very basic breakfast (we actually chose to skip it on our second morning.

The owner Juan was exceptionally nice, and his wife was available all the time through what's app, even late at night when we were arriving. Juan gave us extra blankets when needed and helped fix a shower issue quickly. I was looking at Palcoyyo mountain tours on the day of a protest and he was able to get information for me by making some calls. For $20 CAD for a double room at night, you can't go wrong. :) It was really quiet and close enough to the city centre you can walk to quickly. The rooms were across from apartments that locals live in and the building was across from a school, so we felt like we got a true authentic experience (rather than just staying in a touristy hotel). There is a GREAT french-peruvian restaurant next door as well (La Culture De Manger). Great place for a short stay if you are okay with the cold! It was extremely cold at night and there were no heaters (But I think this is the case for most hostels in cusco). The owner was happy to give us blankets :) The hot water in the shower was not consistent.

Attention was great, the hosts were helpful and caring. There was hot water.

  • Engine customer May 2022

Very nice staff. Good location, few minutes to Plaza de Armas. The owner organised tour Sacrey Valley for us, which was great. The room is cold and very humid. There is no window( only in the bathroom), so if you want to get fresh air in, you have to open door or bathroom window. Someone is living above the room and if you want to go early sleep before the tour, you can’t as its very noisy. You can hear every step. On our last night we had to wake up at 4am and we hardly got any sleep as the person/s above kept walking or makig noise all night. The hot water is ok during the day, late evening is dribbling only.
