Good location, friendly staff, good before going to the Salkantay trek at 3am

The location of the hostel is very close to Cusco center (you can walk to the Plaza de Armas in 5 minutes). Both the morning and night staff were very friendly and kind - they answered all my questions on things to do. They spoke English. They even prepared an early breakfast because one of my tours started early in the morning. The room itself is kept clean as they do house keeping every day.

On a quiet street, easy access to all things Cusco. The staff is some of the friendliest around. The breakfast is nice but just a little too simple.

    Everything was excellent

The receptionists are extremly helpfull with anything, obviously the policy of the hotel is very pro clients oriented, they keep my luggage for 5 days when I'm out for trekking free of charge, which I found just above and veyond. I left hotel at 4am and the receptiinist gave me some snacks for the journey cause BF starts at 6, this was super nice and unexpected. The room is nicely equipped, for the price this is an awesome del! Unexpensive restaurants around and the vity center just above the corner.

I had a great stay at the hotel. My room was clean and had a few extra amenities I didn't find everywhere else (hair dryer, plenty of extra blankets). The breakfast started early, which was really practical, and was really good and filling. Probably the best of all hotels I stayed at in Peru! The location is also great, incredibly central but on a quiet, smaller street.

Very nice staff. Near the center but quiet at night since it's not near a street. Very good value.

Fantastic place to stay in Cusco, in an excellent location. The team here are so kind, super friendly and are happy to help with any questions. The room and general areas were spotlessly clean. There was a little bit of a damp smell in the bathroom but fine, once you kept the door closed. Breakfast was served in a room upstairs with an individual setting left ready for you and was very nice. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Very helpful staff! They met me in the airport and ordered a taxi to the hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, great working wifi. I was staying in July, so it was quite cold at nights but there is a heater provided and really huge blankets, so it is not cold to sleep. The location is great, shops and cafes arounds. Great breakfast, the also pack your food if you have an early tour.

No problems leaving luggage when doing the 4 day Inka trek.

  • Engine customer May 2025

Very friendly staff - basic amenities but just what you need. Great breakfast in the morning and a sweet little gift upon check out! Highly recommend

The location was really good! The beds were not that confy, they can improve on that.

The property is perfectly located right in the heart of town, just a short walk from the main plaza and several popular attractions—an ideal base for exploring the area. The breakfast is fairly average, but it’s more than enough to fuel you up for an exciting day of sightseeing. Wifi :- Wifi network is also fairly good. What truly stands out here is the staff—they’re the real highlight of the stay. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you might need. Their positive attitude adds a personal and memorable touch to the experience. I stayed in a room on the third floor, which meant a bit of a walk up the stairs, but it wasn’t too strenuous. Overall, a comfortable stay with amazing service, view and a prime location. No elevator

In reading the reviews i feel like I must have stayed at a different place. This hostal is overrated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is a huge draw, but pickup/drop off was a challenge with drivers. Fresh cut fruit for breakfast was nice. Shower was hot and had good water pressure, but you really have to be quick as it can easily get to scalding. If you turn on the cold, then you have a high pressure ice shower. Mold on bathroom ceiling, looked like it had been painted over at least once. The hostal has a funk to it as all the bathrooms vent into the interior. The same bologna set out every day for breakfast; i wonder how old it was.

Central location, clean, excellent value for the money. The front reception staff- particularly Juvenal- was amazing. Please give this man a raise! He also gave me great suggestions for visiting places.

Stayed in Cusco for 2 weeks bouncing around diff hotels and hostels and this is by far the best I stayed in. Consistently hot water with great water pressure, hard to find in Cusco. Beds comfy. Breakfast great. And staff going over and above at every step. Special thank you to Juvenil (probably spelt wrong) who went over and above to help me.
