The Culinary Stay and Taste

The property is a 15 minute walk to the center but also far enough away that you can get peaceful rest. Michael and his staff quickly became family to me. I worked remotely there and continued to extend my stay because I didn’t want to leave. Michael and his staff welcomes you warmly and cares for you like family. Some of my most memorable moments in Peru are from this hotel. Michael enjoys hosting and truly cares about the guests that stay at his place. Michael and Eric both are chefs and the food they create is incredible. I highly recommend staying here. Nothing.

This is a nice little hotel , very quaint, clean , in a quiet street and located close to 2 amazing food markets. Just a little further you will find all the shops and restaurants . Amazing breakfast Nothings everything was way above expectations considering the more than reasonable price

Attentiveness and politeness of the staff. The food was amazing. The host, Michael, was amazing in every way. I greatly appreciated him giving us a map and explaining the area and how to get around. I have traveled the world for over 20 years. This is easily one of the best places I have ever stayed. There were no negatives.

I don't know that I can add any more than other reviews in how incredible Michael and his crew are. There are great stays, and then there is this - an outlier experience in catching something truly amazing taking off. This is much more than just a place to stay - it's a community and an experience. Still plenty of privacy and professionalism - not trying to make it sound too informal - but it's just an amazing experience. Absolutely everything was great.

The place was cozy and the host was wonderful. If you were cold he gave you a heater, and if you had an excursion in the morning he made you breakfast. I would for sure stay there again What is not to like it was wonderful

Michael was a fantastic host. The room was spotless and cozy. And he was so responsive and thoughtful. He reached out before check-in to make sure it was a smooth process. When we had an early start, he made us a bagged breakfast to take with us. He truly makes sure you’re well taken care of and you have what you need. It is also in a great location - not far from the historic district and the San Pedro market. This place is a gem!. Nothing!

Wonderful host, breakfast, and convenient location!

The owner was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Also, a good cook. The surrounding of the property was a bit messy.

We had an amazing time here! Beautiful and comfortable space. Michael made everything super convenient for us. Great breakfast, and get to meet a lot of friends during the breakfast time. Super close to the market and Orion Supermarket if we need anything. Highly recommend.

Good location, great host, nice breakfast

This was the perfect stay for our first time visiting Cusco! Michael was so accommodating and made us feel right at home. He took the time explaining the history of the area and mapped out restaurant recommendations and the best things to see during our time. He prepared us packed breakfasts on the days we were not able to attend our included breakfast due to our early excursions. The sit down breakfast was home cooked made to order and so delicious. Room was perfect for us - clean, comfortable bed, hot shower, hot tea and bottled water on our floor was always stocked, wifi kept us connected. Our furry friend Cusi was an added bonus. Location was 5 min walk to restaurants and about a 10-15 min walk to downtown historic district. No issues from our travel tours picking us up from the property.
