Dalat Friendly Fun Hostel

Good value for money with the big private room I got, complete facilities, and responsive staff. There’s a cafe at the lobby (ground floor) and so if you stay at the 2nd floor, you will hear the noise of the people downstairs. When I stayed there, I always came across group of men playing boards and on their phone, smoking and talking loudly.

Probably the biggest room I’ve stayed in on my SEA travels. The sophistication and options for lighting alone are worth a mention. Huge and very comfortable queen bed, softer than most you’ll find in SEA. A/C and circulation are great, big clean bathroom, wardrobe for your luggage and/or clothes. And—to me, the most important factor in finding a great spot—your hosts are attentive, helpful and mindful of your comfort. Very hospitable, and it’s like an “our home is your home” ethic. The location is as good as any other—Dalat doesn’t really have one single tourist “district”. It’s walkable to the center, and Trang will help you rent a scooter, book a bus, or whatever. There’s construction going on behind the building, and at times it feels like the workmen are right next to you. That’s not the fault of the guesthouse, but it’s a reality that may be present for some time. They start working sometimes at 7am, but stop at a reasonable time. It wasn’t an issue for me, but it might be if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing. I almost don’t want to mention it, since the room and hosts are so amazing, but I believe it’s good to be informed.

Spent two nights here. Loved our spacious double room. Very clean and modern. Host was very helpful and friendly We were expecting it to be a little more backpacker friendly - there wasn’t any social side to it which was a bit disappointing. Lovely guesthouse but more of a guesthouse than a hostel.

For the cost, this was quite possibly the best place we stayed in all of Vietnam! The room was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom felt brand new. The owners were also really helpful and gave us some good food recommendations and helped us book the tours we wanted to do. Overall, would recoomend staying here if you're in Dalat!

We loved our stay at Dalat Friendly Fun. The hosts were so kind and it was great to have the cozy coffee shop underneath our room to visit each morning. The room itself was spacious and had everything we needed, including a TV with Netflix. It was also very easy to walk into the main restaurants, bars and markets in Dalat.

The hosts are amazing! Incredibly kind, helpful people. The room was beautiful. I really enjoyed the shower.

The rooms are big and super comfortable (if you like hard beds, this will be your best night of sleep ever). Location is quite nice to explore around, quiet neighborhood but only 15 minutes walking to the main restaurants and bars area. They also rent scooters. The staff is extremely friendly and nice. Unfortunately, they had to scale down staff after COVID and they don't offer breakfast or dinners anymore. This also means that not always there is someone at the reception (aside from the coffee shop owner); we got the WhatsApp number of one of the staff and she was very nice and available, but sometimes she had to come back to the hotel and we waited 10-15 minutes. Really hope they will get back to it soon! Also, the café downstairs is super nice, but gets quite buys around 8 am, so you can hear the people and the cigarette smoke sometimes travels up the stairs.

We loved our stay here, we even stayed an extra night. The family are so incredibly nice and make you feel so welcome! They also have scooter rental and an amazing coffee shop downstairs which is brilliant Everything was perfect! Would recommend for people to stay

the lady from the hostel is really nice! she helped me book a nice canyoning tour. the rooms are really big and clean. beds are perfect. the coffee downstairs is really good. the location is about 10/15 minutes walk to the night market. perfect! would definitely come back to this place.

Trung, who runs the hostel with her husband and family, was lovely and incredibly helpful. The room was very large and comfortable.
