Hosts were super friendly. Location was good, short walk to the Oberdamuls lift/run. The 2-bedroom apartment for 6 adults is not as shown in the photos or floor plan. The hosts were super responsive and were able to find a workable solution for us, including opening up an adjoining room having a seating/lounge area and two single beds. They also offered to do our laundry as the apartment does not have the a washing machine and drier as shown in the photos. We were somewhat surprised that the cost of parking and breakfasts were added to our bill at the end of our stay.

I stayed in the Lucia for 2 Weeks at the start of Feb 2025. It is a nice modern styled hotel, conveniently located between the ski slope (top of Damuls) and the kitchen/ spar shop (middle of town). I was immediately welcomed and greeted with warm hospitality, and had no problem in communicating, even though my German is not very good. I even got free German lessons throughout my stay! The breakfasts were superb, fresh fried eggs every morning, and in the second week I was spoiled by delicious, heart warming 4 course dinners from Marlies & Martin. Marlies also kindly did my laundry for me throughout my stay! I thoroughly recommend this hotel for a vacation; Damuls-Mellau is a varied, quiet, unspoilt ski area that you will just want to keep coming back to. And hotel Lucia as well !

The view from the apartment was stunning. We also got extremely nice weather. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook at the apartment. Everyday we could go for hikes and sightseeing nearby. They gave a free public transport ticket which could be used in cable cars. That was very helpful.

Very friendly staff, nothing was any trouble. Lovely spacious rooms. Wellness area very relaxing. Breakfast was a great spread with lots of options for non-dairy alternatives. Great value for money.

Stopped there on our way from Innsbruck to Zurich. Great location, family run hotel. Owner is extremely nice and friendly. Rooms are clean. Decent breakfast. Highly recommended.

It was the best hotel in my entire europe trip . The couple who run the property were the best couple i met on my holiday . The hotel was very clean and quiet for relaxing after a long ride. Whenever I come to Austria I would definitely stay here with family .they helped me with her 110% effort to dry my wet riding gear . The effort she made to make sure my riding shoes and gear was dry before morning i was shocked . Thank you so so so much of everything. I wish i could give a 10 star rating . Nothing to dislike .
