I'd have rated this hotel a zero if such an option was available. The betrayal I feel can't be captured in words. I honestly had the worst vacation experience of my life. The hotel staff were rude, the breakfast options were limited and not to even mention the lack of facilities that were indicated beforehand such as the swimming pool and gym facilities. I'd never recommend this hotel in a million years. To begin with, the staff of the hotel are unprofessional and lack the most basic etiquette and/or hotel and hospitality training. There's no urgency to attend to guests, personal hygiene, or concern about the needs of the guests. Secondly, the facilities indicated on the Booking.com app, such as the swimming pool and the gym, are all a lie and non-existent, hence dangerously deceptive. I'd say that staying at this hotel didn't provide value for money at all and when i requested for a refund so i could find a hotel that met my needs, they blatantly refused and even denied having received the money- prepayed via my debit card 8 days before my arrival. To make matters worse, the rooms were not clean or fumigated, so dealing with mosquitoes was a nightmare and left a very horrible vacation experience. I was equally disappointed by the limited breakfast options (for the money they charge). Only three options were available for the entirety of my stay. Typical breakfast was roasted pumpkins, some soup, slices of bread, and milk. That's it. A breakfast buffet of only 3 or two hotfood options. I'd not recommend this hotel to anyone. It's not professionally managed- you don't see the typical hotel services where a chef or manager (or their representative) stands on the breakfast area or tours the restaurant to find out if guests are enjoying their meals. For the duration of my stay, I never saw this. I traveled with a child in a foreign country, so this experience was deeply frightening for me as they'd indicated that they were family friendly. I request future Travellers to do their due diligence to avoid such scammers. I'm so disappointed by the Mayfair Hotel. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, ever... this hotel ruined my vacation experience, and I'm so sad that I experienced this nightmare. ?

The WiFi was very good. The place is old. The restaurant is not always open. They only serve breakfast. For lunch, supper/dinner, you have to go to restaurants outside the hotel. Online booking doesn’t seem to work with this hotel.

Size of rooms,AC works well, had hot water,has fridge and coffee pot, nice place to hang clothes, bed is comfortable Door hard to open, type of shower head in my room was not good for price I paid, have to hold it instead of just getting under it. Used to this kind of shower head in motels that are cheap.

I booked for 2 rooms but they gave us one and made us still pay for the price of 2 rooms and made it sound like I made the mistake. When I showed them my confirmation for 2 rooms they told me they were full and couldn’t give us another room, so I don’t them then they should have told us that in the beginning and not make it sound like we made the mistake and also not have us pay for 2 rooms but they just said “my bad” and that was it. The room wasn’t even nice, it smelled moldy and they didn’t even give us enough beds to sleep on. It’s not worth it

Very nice with different varieties. Chef was very polite and friendly You might consider having more Tv channels in the rooms. And probably also have the resting guest area fitted with fans because of heat. But a nice place overall . Many thanks for the kind hospitality.
