Food was amazing Night food staff has less knowledge of order

Welcoming and flexibility of the staff. The location was good in the heart of the old city. The quality of the breakfast. The gym was ok but some equipments were broken.

The breakfast wasn't that good. There's nothing nearby. The rooms are big. WiFi worked really well. Staff was really nice and helpful. AC worked really nice.

The Urban Rose Hotel is certainly a 'Rose' in the middle of the City. The staff, as all reviews state, are exceptionally friendly. They stand back and let you use the lift first, they carry your bags, smile and say hello, nothing is too much trouble. They're wonderful and made our four night stay unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious. Each day there were differing varieties of curries and accompaniments. Of course there was a good selection of fresh fruit, toast and cereals or freshly made omelettes. All served with a smile by the ever helpful waiting staff. Our room was large and spacious with a kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, shower and toilet. There were two air-conditioning units and three ceiling fans, so keeping cool was a breeze. The room was clean and serviced each day with all toiletries being replenished as required. The restaurant is, open in the evening and on Saturday night there is an all you can eat buffet. The hotel is well positioned for all the sights of the City and around a half an hour taxi ride from the airport, traffic willing. All in all a great place to stay in Dar es Salaam. All good nothing to dislike

Staff always on hand 24 hrs to help. Never did they complain. The maintenance guys, the housekeeping lady and security at the front of the building. We never had to wait for service. They were prompt and professional and friendly. Always served with a smile. It felt very homely and safe to stay here. Nothing to not like.

Location is heart of City Centre. From hotel can easily get 3 wheeler Bajaji, & Taxi. Mr. Raj Singh very friendly and help the guest. Hotel staff very helpful and very polite. Cleaners clean the room everyday.

Everything was good. People, facilities. What impressed me and my family were the staff. 4am we should left to airport. So we couldn't eat breakfast. But they prepared lunch box for all of my family. Sandwiches and fruits. Even though other hotels and people scammed us, only this hotel was welcoming and kind to us. So if you go to Dar. Stay this hotel. You will never regret your choice. Thank you. We really enjoyed ? Nothing

From the security personnel till top teir management all were compliant and helpful with the any issue we had.

Staff very kind and helpful. Lovely Indian / Tanzanian breakfast. Also choice of cereals The apartment fittings are dated, but reasonable for the low cost of the stay

It was decent enough for the family ,rooms were good enough ,everything was working Location was not nice as we couldn’t find any decent food place ,not so posh area.

Breakfast was good, but not as I hoped. Just wished more sausages, bacon etc every day, but was good overall. No complaints. Masala chai was excellent.

This hotel is located right by city center. It is at a prime location close to amneties. Staff members are very friendly. I loved the breakfast at this hotel. They have their own menu too for lunch/dinner items that we often ordered from and my young kids enjoyed it. I'd definitely return to this hotel for our next trip.
