A very nice hotel and ideal location pleasant surroundings and a friendly atmosphere well established building but rooms very modern and clean. The breakfast excellent with very helpful staff. We arrived at 8.30am Sunday morning and approached reception the lady was very welcoming and explained every thing we needed to know about checking in and parking,so we set off to enjoy our day, When returning to check in later there was a different receptionist who offered her help after going through the form filling she allocated us our room as we were about to move off she told us to stop when she noticed my Grand Daughter and said I cannot give you that room due to heath and safety regulations I replied saying I have confirmation of my booking here on my phone and told her I had spoke to two different ladies on the Friday evening to confirm everything via a phone call she said it might have been confirmed but not the correct details I was now getting stressed and embarrassed as other people were in the queue watching this unfold I said you cant kick us out now we have been here since 8.30 and have 7yr old child with us who was beginning to get upset. She then looked at the paperwork and said I can only act upon what is said on the Expedia booking I said I did not book with Expedia ? she then looked at the paper work again and I checked she had got the wrong name and the wrong paper work ! After apologising she gave me £4 back for the next days parking ! It was not a very enjoyable 30 minutes and her doubtful manner if there were any more rooms were available in the initial exchange sent my stress levels through the roof! we had been up since 4.30am and thought we had no room booked !

Location wise is was beautiful. The view of the sea was gorgeous. It did have good facilities at a glance (indoor and outdoor pool, play areas) but when you looked closer, these facilities were extremely dated. Extremely dated. Uncomfortable beds. Unexpected additional charge for the dog when the stay was already overpriced. Parking charges. Only sandwiches available for room service - we arrived late after a very long drive stuck in traffic. Noise!!

The proximity to all local facilities and parking is a bonus. The indoor and outdoor pools were clean and accessible all day. The food especially the breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable.

Having an in and outdoor pool is great and we enjoyed using both. However they were very tired and the indoor one was in poor condition, ceiling tiles hanging down and broken tiles in pool. Lots of spaces to sit and tennis, snooker but some of the things like table football and ping pong were so poor quality i can’t understand why not replaced or thrown away. should be a lot cheaper. very mediocre. Dinner and breakfast buffets both poor. with investment it could be great as it has lots of space and facilities.

This hotel was in a ok location and and the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. It was ridiculously overpriced. As we booked we had to pay to park !! With all the add ons it actually cost just under 600 for 2 nights, the room was shabby, not over large and the decor did not match. It really wasn’t worth it.
