Would be nice to have free coffee for the guest downstairs

Only 2 small elevators for the entire property. Ordered a drink while at pool & it took 20 minutes. For the price, I'd recommend you stay elsewhere.i won't be back...

It was a fantastic Stay-Cation.

One of the exit gates was broken with no signs telling you that until you reached the broken gate, you had to turn around and drive back to the entrance gate to get out. No coffee or cups in the room. I called to request some. They arrived several hours later after we’d left for the day.

Not a good choice. It was dirty the male manager was really rude. He did not understand English and mese it hard to communicate

Great hotel and location! Staff super friendly and helpful. Request near an elevator if you have issues walking, as it’s a large hotel.

Mostly clean except found a towel with makeup on it and the same makeup on the bathroom light switch and wall. Kind of grossed me out although everything else appeared to be clean.

Great trip. Everyone was great. Pool was a bit cold but otherwise not bad.

Rooms were bigger than most double queens. I appreciated the extra room to move around

Very nice place our only complaint is the elevators. There’s only 2 and they’re spaced in opposing corners so it’s a long confusing walk to find your room.

Great hotel. Very attentive staff. The Manager Hannah goes above and beyond to make your staff amazing.

great location for the San Diego county fair when its in town.

The first room had a portable air conditioner and did not cool off properly. So they moved me to a room half the size on the first floor by the noisy pool entrance. The metal gate which was very near my door was noisy and would not lock at night. the bathroom was very small and there was no microwave in the room.

Beautiful grounds, clean rooms, nice staff The pool area is terrible. My stay was mid- summer and there were only 6 lounge chairs out and one was broken. 3-4 tables and chairs. People were sitting on the hot pavement and the grass. No manager there on Sunday and staff said there are no other lounge chairs. After complaining twice we got a room upgrade, one night comped and our parking comped which was incredibly generous. They definitely did right by us.

Check into the room and there was trash and left over boxers in the room. Mistakes happen but then the AC didnt work. We left early. Very disappointing because we love staying in Del Mar.

What a great find! We needed just an overnight stay because we were going to a concert in Solana Beach. This hotel is in a great location. About a mile south is downtown Del Mar with so many food choices. About a mile north is Solana beach and everything that town has to offer. I am not into horse racing but the race track is right across the street! Aside from being conveniently located, the property is very well maintained - very clean and inviting. Our room was larger than expected and also very clean. We will definitely stay here again for a quick Del Mar weekend.
