Excellent staff, outstanding restaurant.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, secluded valley location, excellent superB meals for every occasion, free access to the Demjen SPA, free parking, special Christmas food :) The hotel and outside baths certainly need renovations and improvements, you can see amortization in the rooms and bathrooms, wifi is outdated 2.4 ghz with 1 bar signal (might matters to some) in the rooms, tv tons of channels not available why not just remove them instead of wasting the time of the guests skimming through black channels. Room cleaning is not every single day, it should be for a 4 star at least room refresh. Overall the money spent by guests (~100k huf/night) does not reflect the quality the place especially the adjacent thermal bath should provide. Same goes for most hungarian bath places tho, the years go by but the facilities hardly improve (if not the opposite), still enjoyable to visit once a year.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and most spoke English very well. The sauna and pool were great, and the Demjen (sp?) thermal bath was only a few minutes' walk away. The buffet dinner and breakfast were very good! I loved the decor of the dining room for dinner. The carpet in our room had some stains. Otherwise the rooms were very nice.

It's hard to find something. The massage is paid but very good and the indoor spa is fairly enjoyable. The outdoor thermal bath is free for hotel guests so that's finally something they don't charge extra for. The room's quality was bad: the balcony door was broken and it couldn't be opened while the shower door couldn't be closed; the light was flickering, the smell was awful, and bugs were everywhere. In other rooms the TV controller was not working, I heard in an other room the bathroom door knob was broken, and so on. The rooms need a serious renovation. Rooms also didn't have a single complementary bottle water so whenever you got thirsty, you had to pay for the waaaay overprice beverages for which they charge extra fees like service fee and tips. The breakfast and dinner had no variety, it didn't feel like a 4-star hotel but more like a small countryside motel. This 4-star hotel is a shame for the price they charge it for.

It was relatively new. Bath is close and very good, it was clean and the dinner, breakfast are fine. Paper thin wall, we could hear what neighbours were talking, even when they switch on and off their lamps. We felt we are with someone else in room. Nobody speaks english.

I liked the thermal bath, the cave bath, and the hotel's massage but considering the price I paid for my stay, it was not worth it at all. The staff is nice and I see them trying their best but some decisions are out of their hands. The room's balcony door couldn't be opened and the room had an awful smell the whole time that we couldn't get rid of. The bathroom door couldn't be closed. The toilet water was leaking. The light was sometimes flickering. There's no welcome drink, nor any water prepared in the room so any time you get thirsty, you must buy their way overpriced drinks. There's no free water even in the sauna. The TV's controller is sometiems working, sometimes not. You have to figure out where and how to press buttons to make it work. I heard in another room the main door can't be closed. The rooms needed serious maintenance and even when we asked for help, the staff were very sorry for the inconvenience but didn't offer a free beverage or a late checkout or anything to help us feel that we didn't overpay for a subpar experience. The food is okay at best. Breakfasts and dinners have very limited options.

Wonderful location next to the Cave Bath in Demjén, close to the salt hills of Egerszalók and the historic city of Eger famous for its medieval castle. Great variety of food selection during buffet dinner and breakfast and the unique option to enjoy late night spa even until 2.00 am every day during all seasons. Room temperature was constantly set to 26 degrees Celsius even during the night without the option to reset the thermostat.

In the middle of the forest, so quiet and relaxing, so good to rest, and be in peace. The water perfect! For me was so perfect for vacations and forget work

I love the room king suite 106 but Ikea cups in king Suite? Your staff is unhappy, no one smiles, nobody speaks English!? Breakfast not much vegan options
