The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Areas of improvement: None of the ice machines worked. We stayed on a Saturday night and when we opened our window to look out, it looked into the indoor pool. I’m not sure this is up to fire code? There is a restaurant connected to the motel. There was a drum ensemble that played for most of the evening. Even with white noise, could still feel the vibration of the base drum in the room. In the breakfast area, there was definitely a need for better hygienic conditions. For instance,, they just had a multi use jug of milk in the fridge instead of single serve cartons or a milk dispenser. There was extremely limited seating. I believe there were only five tables. There was one staff person that kept bringing food out. He was wearing a sweatshirt, sweatpants and tennis shoes. He did not wipe any tables or any of the breakfast area down with sanitary solution.A lady brought her great Dane into the breakfast area over by the food and the lone staffer never did anything. It was not a service dog either. Needless to say, I did not eat the breakfast. Lastly, there was a man sitting outside one of the entrances drinking beer. He was there the whole time of our stay just sitting on the bench always with a different kind of beer when we would be coming and going in the middle of the afternoon. This was my first time staying at a Clarion and will definitely be my last.

I enjoyed my stay here. I was in for a family party and booked 4 roo.s for 2 nights. Rate was great and lots of stores minutes from the hotel. Pool was good too. Highly recommend this hotel!!

The guy up front at check in was hard to understand but very friendly. We went at a horrible time and there was a wedding with a live band and it was ungodly loud so we ended up leaving and not even staying here :( very upset by that.

The property was just ok. The remodel is nice but alot of things that are in need of attention. The room was kinda clean. Floor was dirty and there was hair on our bed and floor that was not ours. Could have definitely been cleaner. Other than that it was ok for one night stay. They definitely need another waffle maker. One is not enough. I'd probably stay here again if I needed a one night stay. Price was right.

Easy to find, close to TBA's, price decent & breakfast included. We were able to check in early!

Toilet paper in bathroom was used, shower was still dirty. Coffee maker and ice bucket in the bathroom?

The hotel smelled like wet dog. The room was ok. They did shuttle me to and from the airport so that was nice. I was annoyed I had to pay to keep my car parked there while I was on my trip though.

Missing lamps,keycards failed multiple times. Hot tub is shown on website, but no hot tub in reality. Understaffed. No one at front desk at night. Ice machines broken.

No usb chargers in the room.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The beds were extremely comfortable with fresh sheets and a nice selection of pillows. I would definitely book a room there again when traveling to Des Moines.

I liked everything about this place

It wasn’t the worst place I have ever stayed, but it wasn’t the best. Lots of noise, room smelled a bit.

CAUTION!!! Absolutely terrible stay. I brought my family there after a long day at the ball field to find out this hotel was having a car show in the parking lot and around the entire facility. There were people outside of the hotel sitting in lawn chairs thru the entire back and front of the facility. There were half naked girls dancing in the parking lot and an OnlyFans flag waving behind them. There was no place to park, and we had to drive thru all the people sitting alongside the hotel in lawn chairs. Very uncomfortable situation for myself and my family. Would NOT recommend staying at this hotel!!

Service was good main lobby was good but but room is very old crappie the only outlet that worked was the bathroom, pillows were to small, the roo felt dirty

I STAYED A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND THE SERVICE WAS BAD, BUT I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY THIS PLACE AGAIN, 2nd CHANCE. AND THEY ARE VERY ORGANIZED AND FRIENDLY. ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD. THE EGGS DID RUN OUT AND WE WANTED MORE EGGS, BUT THAT WAS THE ONLY PROBLEM. I LIKE STAYING NEAR THE AIR PORT, AS MY SON LIVES NEAR BY, SO I GOOD AREA TO STAY.
