The hotel bellmen and shuttle service was outstanding. The guys took our group to the Iowa State Fair, as well as to a restaurant one of them recommended. Great service and very much appreciated. The hotel is very nice, very clean and has a nice restaurant in the lobby. The rooms were very clean, quiet and came with daily housekeeping service. The valet parking is a bit pricey, but there is a parking garage next door which is reasonable for self-park. Excellent place to stay in Des Moine.

Parking cost extra and you don’t have access to your vehicle. Front desk staff was less than helpful. Breakfast was over priced and didn’t have a good selection. Rooms weren’t as pictured. Elevators had key entry and was a pain most of the time.

Some one charged my room for parking, which I did not drive if I would have not asked about my 100 deposit I wouldn’t have known about the charges. Thankfully the operator fix the problem now have to wait 3 business days for refund to post.

The staff The beds were hard. The shower was dirty and my sheets had dried blood

The staff there was very helpful brought by bags up to the room for us. The shuttle service was also very kind and friendly when needing a ride to and from our event. Cleaning support was also friendly and helpful in getting more towels and cleaning our room. Starbucks in the hotel was great in the early mornings
