I couldn’t get over how impeccably clean the room was and so elegant. It was the best room I have had in years!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I felt very welcomed during my stay. My room was nice and had everything I needed. The location was also convenient. Overall, I had a great experience and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel!

This property is historic, beautiful and well-maintained. When I stay in hotels of this type, my expectation is above-average service, and amenities. The rooms delivered by being spacious and modern with the ultra-plush beds (extremely soft, little back support) and a large walk-in shower. Housekeeping for those staying more than a day or so is not until the late afternoon. We normally left early morning and got back mid-afternoon, so our room was never cleaned. Management had no remedy to room cleaning, so we needed to make requests for towels, soap & toilet paper. Parking was valet for $43 per day however, the garage they use behind the building is available for self-park at $10 per day max. Missing and a nice touch most hotels of this type provide is morning pastries and coffee downstairs in that beautiful huge lobby area. This was a good stay, just wish the service level was a bit more elevated especially in housekeeping.

Beautiful property and wonderful staff!
-
Black mold in the shower - not expecting to see that in an otherwise perfect room.
-
I loved the original woodwork in this place

This is a refurbished property that was done well. Our room was a good size, huge bathroom and well appointed closet and drawer space. Round bar was very nice. Did not eat there except to go coffee which was quick. On site parking is either valet or ten dollars self park per 24 hours. Staff were courteous and prompt. Would return.

Great downtown location, walkable to most everything.
-
Cleanest, nicest rooms in town. Top to bottom best staff of almost any hotel I have ever stayed at

I loved the decor and shower. However, the cleaning of our room was making the bed only. I purposefully put out the toilet paper and tissue container out because we ran of tissues and only had one roll of to. Also, I left our dirty towels and in the shower and they didn’t move or pick them up. The battery in the thermostat was dead m, so it was toasty in the room when we arrived. The front desk and maintenance were great though.

Great newly renovated property. Very clean, well maintained and great in-house restaurants.

Walking distance to parks, restaurants, and the farmers market. The restaurant is five star…
-
In the breakfast/lunch resturant, gluten free bread is not indicated, but they did have it!

There is mold in the grout of the bathroom and the shower door handle is falling off. There is one office chair to sit on so one of us has to sit on the bed if we just want to relax and watch TV in the room. There are two giant useless lamps where a couch could be placed. The room has the tiniest closet I've ever seen. This was the worst $300 hotel room I've ever stayed in. The restaurant was very nice. The food was excellent and the staff provided excellent service. Highly recommend the pork chop. The basement speakeasy was just fine and the service was very slow.
