Sea-Tac Airport Value Inn

Staff was very kind, room was clean but there was no microwave or mini fridge like specified in the listing, and one of the sink faucets was broken and would not work/move

The front desk checked us in quickly. But when I opened the room it had 1 queen bed. The front desk already knew the kind of room I had reserved and still gave us a wrong room. On top of that they did not have another room. We did were tired and spent an hour talking to the hotel staff and also hotels.com support and nothing. Then found a room nearby. This was a really frustating experience as it was around 1am when we simply wanted to get some rest after a flight.

Enjoyed my 5-night stay at the Sea-Tac Value Inn. The staff especially made it a great experience. They were always friendly and helpful. Food places, like McDonalds, are within walking distance. It's right off the main road to the airport, so it's very convenient for travelers, and they even have an airport shuttle. I rented a car, so I really appreciated the free parking with ample spaces. I never had a difficult time finding a spot to park, even late at night.

We were hesitant after seeing the peeling sign and outside appearance. Nothing like in the photos. Breakfast was a pitcher of orange juice, coffee, and a small basket of packaged breakfast treats. When we entered our room, there was no tv, just cords. Staff was surprised. Wouldn't they have noticed when cleaning after prior guest? Fridge didn't open properly. Switched to another room. A/C didn't work. Staff told us we probably just didn't know how to work it. Never did cool. Pay for each guest, yet they didn't provide ample towels for paid guests. Said sound-proof rooms. Not at all! Was convenient to airport.

The description and pictures are not at all like the actual place, unfortunately. The room is very outdated, there were stains on the table and floor and there was a drawing of male genitalia on the bathroom door. The bed was much smaller than advertised as well. The road noise is incredibly loud and walls incredibly thin, we heard someone’s alarm going off in the morning. I understand it’s a value inn but has the listing been accurate we would not have stayed here.

Value Inn is the best deal in town as the place is very clean, staff is friendly and they offer reasonably priced long-term parking while away. The shuttle runs most of the day and it was no trouble getting an uber in the wee hours of the morning. They also offered to call a taxi if needed👍 BTW, we had a 5+ am flight and went to the airport around 3 to find out that the check in kiosks and desks did not open until 3:30 and TSA checkpoints until 4 am. Interesting…

The place was unkept unhygienic and disgusting

I can’t say enough about Sarah at the front desk. I had an issue with the TV and she worked diligently to get it fixed. She is wonderful. My room was very clean and the location was very convenient to the airport. Several restaurants within walking distance.

It was not in a safe location and when I called to try to get a refund because I did not feel safe staying here they denied my request for refund so I needed up paying and had to get a different hotel

Very easy to check in. No refrigerator, no iron/board or elevator. Great for a one night stay!

Jaleel at the front desk was so helpful and nice to work with...room was clean, but missing an ice bucket...great location. Thank you for honoring my original booked price...

Being my first time in Seattle, I didn’t know the airport at all. When I arrived I called the motel for the shuttle from the airport to the motel. The clerk was very patient and polite with me telling me where I needed to be to meet the shuttle. I finally found the spot but I had to keep calling her for the info. When checking in I asked for a first floor room so I wouldn’t have to carry my heavy luggage up the concrete steps to the second floor. Unfortunately, the motel was very crowded and I couldn’t get a first floor room. The clerk said she would help me with my luggage after checking in the next customer waiting. Turns out a nice young man waiting offered to help. Then when checking out, the night clerk brought my luggage down and I didn’t even have to ask. It was a very short stay. I felt it was safe.

I was fearful to stay here considering all the review I had read. I don't know where those folks stayed, but we found Sea-Tac Valu Inn to be an adequate place for an overnight stay before flying home. Yes, the place could use a few updates but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We voted the towels to be the best we had the whole trip! We did not experience breakfast because our plane left too early. The room was a bit threadbare (moldings cracked, bathroom door patched, furniture worn) and there was no hair dryer nor coffee maker (but we had a microwave and a fridge). A coffee maker would have been nice since the front office did not open before we left. We still found the place to be in an excellent location for SeaTac airport and for a quiet night's sleep.
