The hotel was clean and well maintained considering how dated it is, but the carpets were sticky and our room smelled like cigarettes. Overall, a decent budget stay for the price, especially if you value friendly staff and easy access to the city.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The property was clean and apeared to have been renovated in the past few years. However there was a very faint odor of mildew in the restroom. The beds were pretty comfortable and the pillows were great. It's a good stay at a good price.

Very friendly staff. We needed an extra blanket and it was brought up within 5 minutes. Completely breakfast, and shuttle. Train stop for the People mover is also only a 5 min walk away. Free and plenty of parking on property. On the downside, online pictures were misleading. Our room was somewhat outdated and seemed more like a motel than hotel. Perfect for a 1 night event downtown.

The hotel was fully booked during our stay. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The staff was very helpful and brought us a plunger. They offered to move our room, but unfortunately it was discovered that no other rooms were available. The bed was also not very comfortable.

Old building. Smells like cigarettes. Very poorly maintained

Didn’t even go into the building. This hotel looks nothing like the photos. Very worn down, the parking lots are in disrepair, there were several police cars parked around the block. Several vagrants around the building. We booked elsewhere after we saw the state of the hotel, we did not feel safe, and there were recent reviews stating their room had bed bugs.

This is a very dirty and run down motel. Not the safest feeling place. Booked 2 nights didn’t even stay 20 minutes. Front desk lady pretty much said yeah good luck.
-
Dingy, smelled, and unpleasant. It was a place to stay at nothing more. The door didn't close enough to seal. The AC unit wasn't sealed around it and could see outside. Bed was complete uncomfortable. Floor was sticky and gross. Breakfast included not much of anything.

cleaning staff was great but one of the lamps was not working, there was a hole next to the TV in room215

Richard are shuttle driver was very helpful and courteous. We did call him the last night it was so busy he gave us a location to meet him but we couldn’t find it. So Sorry. As to the hotel itself, clean room, under the bed was someone’s snack found that strange. Otherwise it served are purpose for 2 nights.

The room was very clean and nice. The beds were comfortable. We were going to the Fillmore for a concert. It was so close, we used Uber and it was only $20 each way. It's very close to the river so there were options if we wanted to walk and sight see. I would stay here again!

The ceiling was bubbling off like it was leaking and there were pieces of ceiling all over the floor. It’s very old… run down and not anywhere I’ll stay again. Breakfast was all carbs no protein. I skipped that. The bathroom appeared newly restored and nothing else in this room was updated or in good condition. It needs major overhaul. Shuttle driver Rich was great but the vehicle/ van was awful stained seats every little bump I thought the van was going to fall apart. For over $200 it was a big mistake!

Parking and location were great. The room was decent and clean

Staff was super friendly and breakfast was perfect. Price was right but could use an update.
-
Place was clean but outdated. Staff was super friendly and helpful. This place worked for us. Just needed a place to sleep and shower after a concert at Ford field. Free shuttle there and back was great!

I took video of all this to prove what I have written.

No air conditioning. Lou’s music until 12pm. Did not feel safe or clean. Only positive was staff were very friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff! The room could’ve been a bit cleaner, there was some areas you could tell left from the last guest. (Some plastic trash and crumbs on tables/surfaces) the bedding was fine but definitely had some grease staining and snags which made us a bit hesitant. Bathroom was updated more recently and well kept. Breakfast options were decent just lacked sausage and scrambled eggs wish there was more variety aside from carbs/breads. Easy check in/out with friendly front staff and well kept lobby.
