From the valet, to the reception, the service was exceptional. The team checked availability and were able to upgrade my room without even requesting them to. Sobhy and Amin were amazing on the reception and immediately attended my needs.

In a walking distance there is also Gate Avenue with a plenty of restaurants and shops, nice photo spots and both indoor and outdoor walking areas. The hotel has a well equiped gym with scenic view over Jumeirah, and also a rooftop (level 47) pool and bar with 360 degrees view, including Burj Khalifa and Downtown. The ground floor is also nice, there is a cafe and a lot of space to sit and work with a laptop, power outlets are also available. The breakfasts were delightful. The choice is good and there is also an omelette station avaiable. Still after a week we get somewhat used to the food selection, and surprisingly they have extended the assortment significantly during the last few days of our stay. Maybe there were a sudden increase in number of hotel guests, I do not know exactly. Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise. Once we have ordered some food from the room service, at it was excellent as well. There are 4 lifts plus service lift, they operate quite fast and we never wait more that a minute for a lift to arrive after a call. Everyone of the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I needed to extend my stay for one day, and it was done seamlessly. I would also like to thank the restaurant staff and personally Surendra Kumar, they made our breakfasts quite an enjoyable experience. When we arrived, the room had minor tech flaws and the floor was not very clean (especially in some nonevident places like baseboards, washing machine door sealing, gaps between sofa cushions) but I called the reception and we had no issues with cleaning since then. We were living in a 1-bedroom apartment. Although it was overall great, we were a bit disappointed that the blackout curtains were only in the bedroom and not in living room, where we wanted to put a baby crib. Unfortunately, the hotel staff was not able to help us on this matter. I would also prefer to be able to switch the corridor lights off for the same reason. If you travel with a baby, note cribs here are only for up to 18 months old. Our 22 months old girl felt a bit cramped

We went for a staycation during the UAE holidays. As the hotel was fully booked, it appeared that the staff were not sufficient to manage the large number of guests. Although the official check-in time was 2:00 PM and we arrived on time, we only received our room at 5:30 PM, which was quite disappointing. However, as a gesture of goodwill, the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Suite, which was greatly appreciated. Parking was also very challenging, and there was no proper guidance available to assist guests. In addition, the swimming pool was quite small and overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy a good swimming experience. Other than these issues, the overall stay was comfortable, and the hotel facilities were good. The room upgrade helped make our stay more enjoyable, and we appreciated the hotel's effort to compensate for the delay. Parking was also very challenging, and there was no proper guidance available to assist guests. In addition, the swimming pool was quite small and overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy a good swimming experience.

Whilst hotels struggle my room was only attempted to be clean once and was the afternoon I took a nap. I survived but not what you expect from a 4 star hotel.

I really liked everything about Carlton. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were always clean, and the location is great - close to places like Dunkin’ Donuts, Wendy’s, etc. There’s also a nice market and pharmacies nearby, which was really convenient. The breakfast was great too, we always left full, and everything tasted delicious. I might also add, that even though the breakfast was amazing, it would be even better with a wider variety of dishes. Overall, it’s a great choice for enjoying your stay in Dubai. There was nothing we disliked, everything was perfect, and I didn’t find anything disappointing.

We received an upgrade one bedroom suite. The apartment was big, but not very clean. The towels are very old, and needs to be replaced. The furniture is old, and needs to be abraded. The room was very big and even had a washing machine which was a nice touch. The pool had a great view and the staff were friendly and helpful. Near many restaurants and coffee shops. Very close to metro.
