JA Ocean View Hotel, Jumeirah Beach Dubai

The location of the property was amazing. Near the most popular public Jumeirah beach. Free to access so be prepared to experience business at peak times. The pool was crowded and only had one pool. The staff were making well considering the busy human traffic. The breakfast at ground floor music was too loud in the morning. The manger Sidhart (apologies if I spelt it wrong) was curtious and he lowered to sound after several requests. We did not enjoy the atmosphere at the restaurant ground floor at breakfast. We had to leave our food. In the morning sound of music has to be mellow and relaxed. It felt like we were in a club. See picture attached. Thank you.

swimming pool espcially the the pool is heated. Spacious rooms. Enterance and parking service. Good staff . Dinner/lunch meals , poor menu , there isnt large selection , it could be better if it was buffet. Toilet in the lobby isnt clean . There isnt jacuzi in the pool area. The bar at the pool was closed

Mr. Hashim alansari was a great guy and he tried his best to make us feel great. Check in was delayed. When we entered the room the smell was okey but not the best and one of the pillow sheet was stained with blood or something red. Breakfast had a long queue time. On second day, room service didn’t clean the room even though we hanged the sign. I thought it was by default in big hotels chains and i didn’t need to tell them to do that especially when there are sign for that.

Location was perfect and view of the room, staff was very polite, i highly recommend

The location can't be better than this, the room view in incredible (Dubai eye right in front of you) , the valet service is unbeatable (James, Sohall, and Karu). The receptionist was very thoughtful and provided special surprise in our room for a celebration anniversary. Housekeeping was fast in fulfilling request. Really a good place to be at for many reasons. The room was clean but you can see some dust spots above bed where the mirror is, nothing major but for the price paid you'd expect more. The bathroom has no ventilation so if you shower it stays steamy for a while and moist. The wardrobe is heavy and makes a sound when you open and close it, problematic when you have a baby that wants to sleep. And finally, and I am sure this is a problem in Dubai in general and not for JA Ocean view hotel is the sound-proofing. The super cars keep revving their engines until late night (around 2 am sometimes) and you can hear the sound even if you close all the windows and doors. I don't think there's a solution for this one

The price was a little bit high, the view could be much better (if the receptionist was more generous)

Unfortunately, the overall issues were beyond her control. Thank you, Wesal, for your kindness and for the thoughtful souvenir Location is very good I stayed at this hotel starting Sunday the 8th February 2026 in Room 1007, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. Before arrival, I had requested a high-floor room. Upon check-in, I was informed there was no availability and was assigned a noisy room, which affected my ability to sleep from the first night, I discovered that the door lock was broken. It took approximately two hours to repair while I remained inside the room, which raised serious safety concerns. Despite booking a king-size bed, the room was prepared with two separate single mattresses pushed together. This caused significant discomfort and insomnia. I reported this the following day and was promised it would be corrected. During the bed adjustment process, a staff member entered my room claiming he had knocked. I had briefly stepped onto the balcony for less than three minutes. He entered without receiving clear permission and saw me in a state of undress. He did not immediately exit until I firmly asked him to leave. Although he later apologized, this incident caused me significant emotional distress and made me feel unsafe in what should have been a private and secure space. Additionally, the bathroom sink drainage was faulty and required maintenance during my stay. Management offered a room upgrade as compensation. However, after packing my belongings (while in Dubai on a business trip), I moved to the new room only to find a strong unpleasant odor. Even housekeeping acknowledged the smell and suggested opening the window or using air freshener. I had to return to my original room after wasting time and effort. Overall, my stay was marked by repeated maintenance issues, a serious breach of privacy, and poor service recovery. This experience fell far below the standards expected from a hotel in Dubai. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves their safety and service standards. Update (before check-out): I would like to acknowledge...

Expensive. People speak bad English Nothing

The room , the service, the non availability of Tabkes at breakfast, price over service is exaggerated.

The location is excellent The staff are helpful. Rooms are spacious and had a great view. I wished that there was an ironing board and an iron available. And cold water pressure was lower than needed.
