Bota Palace

Loved the location of Bota Palace. It’s right in the middle of Old Town. Everyone was so accommodating especially for my daughters gluten allergy. Just be warned you have to carry luggage up a stairs, so pack light

The location is absolutely prime. The rooms are nicely decorated. Well outfitted with everything, including bathrobes, slippers, nespresso machine and every creature comfort. Given the location we first thought it would be loud from the streets, but it wasn't. There are strong blinds and double windows that can be closed. It is truly comfortable and housekeeping was very accommodating and everything very clean. No reception, lobby, foyer, bar, restaurant or any amenities. It feels more like a bed&breakfast than a hotel. But it's OK given that it is embedded in a myriad of F&B and dining options in the old city.

So many positives but only thing to improve on is the AC. Could not get the room cold enough. Had to close off the bathroom to try and chill the bedroom as much as possible.

The room is beautiful and in an awesome location. The breakfast in the morning is awesome and I love that you have 4 choices!

The property was in the perfect location. It was close to everything inside the walls and easy to get to with our luggage. The staff was incredible

Modern luxury in the heart of the city. Spacious with gracious host, cleaning staff was excellent and helped with several requests. Some nights can be loud from nearby bars or restaurants but the rooms are generally quiet. The front desk is not staffed by design which makes message response very important. Signage for the hotel is not prominent enough and we had some difficulty finding the entrance. Google Maps information was not correct.

My stay at Bota Palace was more than exceptional. It boasts a prime location within the Old Town, just steps from the main entrance, Pile Gate. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The service was top-notch, with attention to every detail. Both Karla and the housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly and professional, readily accommodating any request. On a rainy day, they provided umbrellas, and if you had to leave for a tour before breakfast, they prepared a breakfast bag for your departure. I highly recommend Bota Palace if you want a truly enjoyable stay in Dubrovnik. Nothing to say

It was a beautiful property in the heart of Old Town. There wasn’t anything we did not like.

Location, location, location. I wanted something in Old Town Dubrovnik, and looked at ALL available properties. This was the best -- right inside the Pile Gate, convenient for dragging all the luggage from the prior stops on a three week trip, and a 3-5 minute walk from everywhere. The room was large, comfortable, modern, with all the amenities you'd find in a regular hotel room. A nice breakfast was brought to the room each morning at a time we designated -- picked from a limited list (but with some customization available) the night before. Given that it overlooked the Stradun, I was pleasantly surprised that street noise after 10pm wasn't as bad as I anticipated. It is what it is -- and that's OK. It's not a hotel -- no lobby, bar, restaurant, room service (other than the breakfasts), gym, etc. I understood that. Be prepared to walk your luggage up to your room (we got help from the young woman who met us when we checked in). The front door desk (2m X 2m foyer) isn't staffed. They make up for that with very good text communications about things to do and in answering your questions. *I* would go back again (but that doesn't mean my wife would).

Kind of tricky to reach the location; we came from Mostar,BH and the taxi left us far from the Old Town because he wasn’t resident

The breakfast was outstanding and lovely to be served in the room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was immaculately clean. The location was perfect for exploring the Old Town. It did not bother us, but it may not be a great choice for light sleeers.

Beautiful, outstanding location, wonderful staff. No assistance with luggage up and down stairs when staying on top floor, other than that this place is a dream

The hotel was beautiful , breakfast was delicious delivered by Mary every morning with a wonderful smile . Everything was wonderful

Beautiful rooms, GREAT location and accommodating management.

Bota Palace is gorgeous. We stayed in the studio apartment and it was perfect. We got to select our breakfast every morning and received great recommendations upon arrival which were super helpful - and delicious! They also helped us organize a transfer service from the ferry to the gate when we arrived and met us upon arrival even though it was almost 9pm. On a rainy day, umbrellas were available by the door. Just a very thoughtful stay from start to finish and always felt taken care of! Would stay again in a heartbeat! If stairs are an issue for you, be aware that there are three flights of stairs up to the studio apartment : ) We had no problems but something to keep in mind!

Breakfast choices were nice, but "hot items" were not usually hot. The French Toast was bigger than the plate....hard to eat. Staff made great recommendations for high-quality restaurants that were off the beaten path and a bit less touristy. Noise was quite loud at this room facing the Main Street in Old Town (Standun). Housekeeping with vacuuming and moving furniture began and 6:22am in the apartment above, so that was the end of sleeping.

Breakfast was wonderful Our room and the hotel were exquisite. So much thoughtful detail to make it beautiful, clean and so comfortable. Karla was always so helpful and the maid who served breakfast and cleaned was very conscientious. Absolutely loved it and will return! Location is perfect! But because of that some noise at night which is out of their control.
