Great location for our family, and the outdoor fit pits with wood made for a much better way to spend out evening than inside watching TV. A few minor things could be updated, but the property is being actively maintained and we got everything we asked for. Very pleased how quiet and comfortable our room was. Next time I am in the area, I will happily choose this Inn again!

We had a bedroom that was separate from the living area. So there was plenty of space. The room was well-furnished, clean and had sort of a rustic feel. We were very comfortable.

The room smelled very strongly of cleaning products at first but it was okay after a good air out! The staff were very friendly.

Our 3 important criteria for a hotel are bed comfort, shower, and cleanliness. The Willard Munger was in a good location and although there was no one at the office, he showed up quickly and was helpful. the hotel was older, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Not by any means fancy, but adequate for sure.

Quiet, clean and very comfy. Stood for 15-20 min to check in before another lady asked the guy standing outside if he worked there- he said he didn’t even know we were in there - after checking, everything was ok… would stay here again.

The Willard Munger Inn is an old school motel that is just what you would expect: clean with a friendly and helpful owner. I stayed at the end of May and the 250th USA anniversary decorations were just getting started. The owner told me about his plans and if I lived closer I would have loved to have seen them when they were complete. It is very close to the Zoo and they offer a free day pass. My room was small and clean. Since I was only there while I was sleeping, the size was not a problem for me. If you want to be close to Canal Park, the Willard Munger is about a 5 miles away so you will need to drive.
