I have stayed at this facility many times over the years. It is well located to all local sites. I was dismayed by the apparently new wifi charges. As a Windham member the basic wifi was free but very slow. If not a member, I would have been charged, and if I wanted premium access to wifi I would be carged extra. I feel that this policy is usurious.

Great basic hotel, out of the busy canal close to everything.

Staff was courteous. Breakfast was always good and hot. I would stay there again.

Comfortable, good breakfast, darken shades for sleep, quiet, convenient location. Nothing.

Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was amazing.

The room was spacious

Rooms should be clean EVERYDAY. I am on vacation and want clean sheets and towels EVERYDAY. It is something I feel I am paying for. Do not profess to be ecologically minded saving water.......you are trying to save $

Location The bed and bedding were soaked with some liquid and couldn't be slept in. We had to change rooms at 10:30 pm. The room smelled very musty.

The location and breakfast was good. The workers were all very friendly and helpful when we needed it. The beds were very uncomfortable for us. The AC was loud. The room we were in had a really small shower. The food and service at the attached restaurant was not good either.

Reservation was not honored despite having confirmation. Staff was unhelpful and only offered a 1-800 number for assistance.

One of the nicest places we have stayed at. Staff very professional and pleasant, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast very good. Good location also.

When we reserved we asked if they had truck/boat parking? They said yes and they did not. Lobby, hallways and elevator carpets were very dirty. Rooms were nice and clean. It was nice to have the resteraunt/bar attached to the motel, great food! Breakfast starts at 6AM but eggs and sausage were 15 minutes late. Also I might add that there must be a biker bar close by because we had to put up with that noise until around midnight! It's close off 35 and gas and food are across the street at Kwik Trip. We've stayed in worse places but also better. I'll say 3/5 stars.

Our stay at the American Inn was great. The rooms were very spacious and clean. But our beds were a little too firm for us. This place would be on our radar for our next visit.
