rooms were a bit small but were in keeping with the period it was built

The room, although a little tired, was clean and well furnished. We had a hot tub on our terrace which was very welcome after a long journey. Breakfast choices were very good and served in a very nice dining room. Staff were friendly. The exterior at the rear of the hotel on the first floor was in need of a little TLC. We looked up to this when in the hot tub.

Could not fault anything.

Staff very friendly, helpful.and hardworking. Our room had a fabulous Sea view. Our room was spotless. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. We were there for our Niece's wedding at Broxmouth Courtyard. We needed a taxi to get there. Can thoroughly recommend Torrance Taxi company. Arrived on time to take us there and bring us back. Thanks to them and the hotel for recommending them. We didn't have breakfast. Bed was a bit hard. Could have done with a mattress topper. As the mattress buttons dug in when trying to lie on your side. Kept me off my sleep. Apart from that. We had a lovely relaxing break. Lots of sea air and lovely walks.

The view from the dining room The windows weighed a thousand Lbs

Beautiful quiet location with an amazing view of the water. Fantastic shower and bathroom (including conditioner and body lotion), comfortable bed, and the most delicious dinner I’ve had on my entire trip (over a month cycling around the UK). Dining room has an amazing view too and breakfast was will stocked with great coffee and cooked breakfast options. They could do better with their bicycle parking. The racks out front were bent and didn’t support the bikes in the heavy wind. We ended up locking our bikes behind the hotel instead.

Staff was super accommodating, we were there with a group of friends, and the staff really looked after us well. Beautiful location along the coast, excellent breakfast, and dinner one night was also quite delicious.

Very clean - easy access from Dunbar Car park - nice size room with shower soaps

Beautiful scenic location, easy to find, with a path down to the rocky beach and the most fantastic park/playground nearby (Lauderdale Park). The rooms are old but comfortable and clean and the bathrooms are newly remodeled and excellent! The water pressure was great and the shampoo and conditioner provided are local and organic and smelled good. A great place to stay for our family and if you have toddlers or kids don’t miss out on Lauderdale Park! The only bummer was that we couldn’t stay longer!

The food was good as were the staff… Car park The hotel needs a desperate refurbishment ….premier inn is better maintained….the shower and hot water tap took forever to heat up…..the hot tub has no canopy so in bad weather useless…everything looked tired and finish really low ….underwhelming

The location is stunning right on the coast. Very nice building. Charming. No hot water for second shower. Cheap bathroom door lock but these are minor problems

Location Location Million dollar view Wine choices not good

One of us felt a little uncomfortable with how open to passersby her room felt. The room had a window right next to the bed and she felt like it left her too close to the outside, especially as a woman staying alone.

Gorgeous location on the water. Walk to charming town. Very chill after a week in Edinburgh and before a week in London. Great breather to stop and just relax
