Ian was a lovely laidback and welcoming host who left us to it. The ensuite room was comfortable and professionally presented, and mostly clean where it mattered but quite dusty in the lesser used parts. Little tea tray, kettle, mugs and tiny fridge were useful. TV with standard channels. Internet was good for basic use. The room wasn't deeply cleaned and very dusty in the lesser used parts and some surfaces. Bedsheets, sink, toilet and shower all clean.

It was quite dusty on the surfaces, hair in the shower and bathtub, the water pressure was very low and the toilet flush only worked when the shower was off. The toilet brush didn't fit in the toilet and was hard to use. The breakfast was very basic, the cereal containers and the tea pot looked a bit ancient and not properly washed. The mattress was not very comfortable and the bedroom didn't feel private. When we went out for the day and came back, our window was widely opened. some dirty cups and towels had been replaced, which was nice but it just gives a feeling of uneasiness when someone walks into your private guestroom while you're away.

I liked the friendly welcome I received on arrival, parking was right at the door, nice conversation with the owner who was very helpful Have already booked again for next week. Nothing comes to mind at the moment.

I liked the location, I liked the greeting I received from the owner on arrival, room was clean comfortable bed, tea coffee etc all tidy. Toilet very clean and to cap it all there was a bath ( as well as a shower ) thankyou. I honestly couldn't find anything to dislike.

Perfect position , everything is good. Owner is lovely and kind who help us a lot and told us many interesting stories. The single bed is a little small, short and narrow.

The bed was comfortable. It was not very clean. Dusty everywhere. Fridge was dirty inside. No way to lock our door when stepping out. Junky yard. Toilet doesn’t flush properly. Not comfortable eating breakfast in our room on a wobbly tv tray and one folding chair.

Ian was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Nothing at all.

Bathroom was not ensuite and bedrooms without locks

It was cheap compared to other properties in Dunbar. There was no key for our room and no ability for us to lock our door once we were in for the night. Our room was right near the entrance to the home which also was not locked at night. And, we had to eat breakfast in our room. It wasn’t particularly clean either.

Very handy just 1 minute off A1, easy to find. Comfy bed, very quiet and nice continental breakfast taken to your room. The host works hard to provide a good service. Excellent value. Nothing
