Pleasant stay. Staff is always more than welcoming and also good services. The price to stay is a bit high.. La Quinta is nice but I think $320 for a nights stay is a bit of a stretch..

Nice location & very cordial check-in staff. Then the problems with amenities rose: (1) Both pool & hot tub closed for all 3 day stay due to maintenance issue. This was a major reason I booked this hotel for a family vacation stay. (2) Breakfast was terrible. No juice, milk, hot water for tea. (3) Breakfast was supposed to be from 6am-9am, but each day 10-12 people were waiting til 6:40 before coffee or hot breakfast arrived. I asked for hot water for tea, but after 30min of waiting I finally went to McDonalds for breakfast. — There seemed little concern or hurry to resolve any issues.

The room was fine, if a little small to fit two queen beds in, but we appreciated getting one of their pet friendly rooms for our old golden lab. The staff was friendly enough, and the continental breakfast was better than a lot of em these days. But that pool was a dealbreaker. If they would’ve just told us they were both down we could’ve found another place, rather than spend an extra $150 for an amenity that was too gross to make use of.

Friendly staff but not enough staff during breakfast. Over all a good stay. High price but what can you expect it is Durango in the tourist season.

Front desk staff was not friendly for check in. Pool and hot tub were out of service, which was not disclosed. Breakfast was limited and out of silverware and coffee with nobody restocking the 20 minutes we were in the lobby. Would not stay again. Not worth the already steep cost.

The property is an older property. Unfortunately, I was put in a handicapped room (I guess I booked it w/o knowing) so it was a bit inconvenient especially the shower and it didn't have a lounge chair or sofa like the regular king rooms, just a big empty space. Only one of the elevators worked and the pool and hot tub were cold. The breakfast was so-so, but because the hotel was accomodating a large group of workers the food and coffee were frequently empty. They did refill if you waited. The worst part was the credit authorizations on my credit card made no sense. On a 4 night stay my card was charged approx $500 more than the total should have been. Wildly different amounts each day - none of which were the actual daily room rate. This was the credit hold. Eventually, some of the charges dropped off after I checked out and the total charge was eventually correct. Still, very frustrating. I checked with the front desk and had them print out my charges and it was as expected, nothing like what was actually being applied to my card. No explanation.

Everything was great I loved everything

The room was nice! The hot tub didn’t work which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel so that was disappointing. The morning breakfast staff were amazing. Jo made our morning. She was sweet and funny. Overall a great place to stay!

I rated this poor because the staff is very unprofessional. The attitude is not only disrespectful but if you ever want to feel unwelcomed this is the place. Pool and Hot tub are not available and it seems that it is that way for every location no matter where we traveled. Probably will not stay at LaQuinta since they offer the admenities but are not truely available. The pool and hot tub are always closed. We went to have breakfast and the food was terrible. Then as we patiently waited for the kitchen to cook the food the cook left for 20 minutes and we watched other customers ask the front desk for help and the lady at the front desk statement was "God forbidd someone has to use the bathroom". That did not seem to be the case because the woman running the kitchen left for 20 minutes in tears. There was no coffee for 20 minutes. No cold water for the entire 40 minutes we sat there waiting. Hot water was cold and never refilled. When the lady returned she was snappying at customers for asking for coffee, water, and syrup. I heard a customer say "I guess I will have to skip eating this morning". I over heard other customers asking for assistance and was given an attitude. The area was very dirty. If you don't want to work in the industry of serving people then find somewhere else to work because we pay good money to receive these services. Pool, hot tub, breakfast, and a clean welcoming place to stay. I do not recommend this place. Very disappointed.

Great hotel with great prices. The restaurant on site was very convenient!

Hot tub was not working and staff did not know when it would be ready. Rooms were not clean , beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Our shower door was not working properly and one of our refrigerators was not working and insides were taken out. Hallways were dirty with dust and candy in the corners. Our overall experience was not good and I’m working hard to remedy this problem. Also there was a light sitting on the edge of the pool and children in the cold jacuzzi shooting water guns at the people in the pool area. I would not recommend that hotel to friends or family or anyone. Thanks, Kathy Donnelli and Gerald Donnelli

Coffee and food was barely warm, I stayed 2 nights. I will not stay at this property again. Staff was helpful when you could find them.
