Comfort Inn & Suites Durango

the shower curtain was about 6" too short and wouldn't stay inside the tub... the food was decent - but the breakfast area was very busy and they kept running out of eggs/potatoes etc... and most tables only had room for 3 people so chairs kept being moved about... the pool area did not look clean... both times I dealt with the front desk staff - I was impressed iwth their knowledge but both men had excessive beards... a huge turn off when dealing with what should be professional staff... over all - okay but a little pricey - but to be expected this time of year - this was one of the few motels that had vacancy for the period we needed... I would not have known except there was a sign at the front desk... how many don't read????

One of the best Breakfast, i have ever received. Food was fresh throughout the serving. Each and every day. Well done

After a long day, I was ready for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the mattress was one of the hardest and most uncomfortable ones I've ever laid on in my life.

Loud noises from neighbors, tv on late both nights. Room smelled bad and had stains. Dirty and outdated/old furniture and ammenities. Super overpriced for the quality.

My only issue was the "No Trailers" signs everywhere. No way to know that when booking!! Nobody hassled me about my little trailer though, and there were a couple others there. Otherwise a nice property and decent breakfast.

Our stay was just ok. The air conditioner struggled and never cooled down our room to the temp we set it at. The breakfast was very subpar for what we expect from a Comfort Inn. There was a homeless man who felt right at home in the lobby. The staff were very busy and seemed short. Probably would find somewhere else to stay if ever in the area again.

It was a good location, easy access and five minutes from the Durango-Silverton train station. The breakfast was good. It was clean and safe.

Clean room. Great water pressure. Free popcorn in evening I believe until 10. Free cookies until gone. Breakfast was ok. Great coffee. Wonderful service.

The room was clean and what we expected for a 3 star hotel. Walls / ceilings thin so you heard people above you and beside you.

Had a great stay for my first time being in Durango.

Exceptional

Location is a little bit out of town so you have to drive into town and pay for parking which is a hassle for me because I’m handicapped and parking is very difficult for me, other than the train ride and dining there is not really much to do in Durango. The usual tourist traps are everywhere so I moved on to Grand Canyon the next day.

Was pretty noisy, lots of walking noise above us.

Overall amenities were good. I liked the gym. Free breakfast and coffee was also good. The breakfast foods were low quality. I could barely tell the scrambled eggs were eggs at all...almost no taste and very thin. Because of that we didn't eat any. There should be half n half cream available for coffee.
