Lovely place to stay! Great breakfast, parking and a lift.

1.It would be better to put some soap in the washstand 2. The fridge practically is useless, it takes forever to cool the drinks (24 hours), put some new and stronger fridge

The main issue was that there was no coffee in the room. There were tea bags, but to get to coffee we had to go downstairs and make sure we had one euro per coffee. For the elegance of the hotel i would even expect an espresso machine in the room, but there wasnt even instant coffee. We had booked the family room which is really big. The only thing is that it resembles a hotel corridor and doesnt give the cozy feeling. We had stayed in the past in a smaller room and we know how cozy the rest of the rooms are.

There is no on site receptionist. Most of the time that is not a ln issue. But it does cause some inconvenience.

Staff was great

Nice, cozy and clean. A few steps from the city center where you have a lot of restaurants.

Smooth check-in process. Comfy bed. Very nice lounge area. Breakfast should be included in the standard rate.

Durbuy is flooded by tourists in the holiday period so the location of this hotel, a bit away from the crowds on the other side of the river, is superb. The building has an interesting history and served many purposes (administration, school, post-office...) before becoming a hotel. Excellent relaxation area downstairs. Our room, with a separate bedroom, was very cosy and clean, supplied with a little fridge. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good, served in a spacious dining area. Big thanks to a helpful lady at breakfast who did her best to book us a taxi (not an easy task in Durbuy). All good experience about this hotel is spoiled by the fact that the rooms are super-acoustic. No sound-proofing at all and one can hear tv or music and neighbours talking or walking around the rooms upstairs in the evening/night. If you are sensitive to these kind of things, ask for a room at the last floor, I would say. It is a bit odd to have a hotel with so little staff - you get a code by e-mail to get in and you never see anybody at the reception. Except the persons making breakfast and cleaning rooms...

Very cosy hotel optimally located to visit Durbuy and surroundings.
-
Good location, big rooms, clean
-
Location, free parking, better than average breakfast It’s outdated like visiting Grandma’s house. No hot water kettle in room, too many emails, rooms on second floor are hot. Expensive, but ok for one night.
-
Close to town. Nice dedicated parking spot. Easy check-in/check-out.

The hotel is in a lovely spot by the river and chateau in Durbuy, with a riverside garden and terrace. Just a short walk into the old town. The room was comfortable and the honesty bar downstairs has a good selection of drinks including local beers. Good breakfast which you have to pre-order and secure storage for our bikes. There's no staff until breakfast so you get lots of emails about access, check in and breakfast and there's no one on site to answer questions. Nothing to do with the hotel but a lot of the restaurants were closed mid week.

CLose to Durbuy town .. good instructions for entry and facilities..

Location is great. Just a quick walk to the town! Also, it has ample space to park your car which is provided for free. The facilities are very poor - there we no electric water heater or steam iron for clothes in the room. I asked the staff over the Booking.com app, and turns out they don't have it to provide even on request.
-
Location is very convenient. Free parking. Breakfast was okay although not very spectacular. Everyday with the breakfast choice. The room does not have a good sound proof. The bed was not confortable.
-
I cannot rate the staff because during my stay I did not see any members of staff as everything was controlled by numerous codes!

Very good
