Great location. Great price

Location is the only redeeming feature!! Dirty, bar might as well close! No draught beer, no J2O, no apple juice etc!! Needs an intensive clean, carpet is filthy in corridors. It is like a third rate boarding hotel. £140 for one night I feel completely scammed!! Depressing place, with the right investment this could be a beautiful hotel but it is currently shabby, un loved, decrepit and sad!

The location I encountered suspected bed bugs in two different rooms and had to be moved twice, late at night. This caused considerable stress and anxiety and seriously disrupted my stay. I was also worried about potentially bringing bed bugs home with me. This was a very upsetting experience and fell far below what I expected from the property.

Brilliant location, right onthesea frontbythepier andtown centre just 5 mi ute walk away. Lovely and friendly staff. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Would have liked anetcurtaininthemiddlewindow as well as the side widows.

Great location, near to the pier, town, shops, Staff are great, friendly and helpfull. Bed was clean, room was clean, But the netcurtains were filthy, could do with a wash, along with the curtains. And the latch on my bedroom window was broken, so it was either wide open or closed, i did report it to staff. But they did supply me with a fan in this hot heat.

Location mostly and the receptionists the were extremely kind and helpful As it is an old property the rooms do not have air-con so they get extremely hot and impossible to sleep and we did not have a fan so it would be good if at least they were equipped with fans.

Brilliant location.. very polite staff.. housekeeping every day.. nothing to dislike about the hotel but the seagulls are very noisy in the mornings..

Well placed in town. That's literally it. Hotel was untidy, the pumps in bar obviously needed a pull through as beer tasted funny. Mattress stained beyond belief, was joined by some bed bugs and the whole place was down at heel. Left early as second room I was offered was strewn with rubbish and hadn't been made up so wasn't going to take a chance on third one. Staff were neither helpful or unhelpful. Nice enough lads but clueless and the manager, who I'd been told would be in at 10am, was unavailable. Area less than salubrious as well , that's not the hotels fault though, that's a council issue. Parking was awful, more down to airshow though. Was just basically a pretty rubbish hotel in a pretty rubbish bit of Eastbourne. One star, would not recommend.

The location and view. Staff were friendly and helpfull. The rooms are very outdated. Needs some tlc and updating. Very worn looking The rooms are uncomfortably warm There is no water pressure in the shower so takes forever to wash

Excellent ground floor double room as I am partly disabled. Bar that served ice cold drinks on very hot days. Easy access to pier for annual photos hoot of planes....airbourne! Only one towell! Had to ask for a fan..ok.. tv failed as satellite and cable knocked out....big heat? Annoying. But bearable. Kitchen not functioning so breakfast at another hotel. Bearable
