Everything was good . Friendly staff. Clean. Comfortable bed. Nothing was too much trouble. I liked the way they saved us a parking space. Nothing to complain about

Great location with discounted on street parking. Staff very welcoming and extremely helpful .restaurant was lovely and the food was excellent Executive room was in need of refurbishing stains on the carpet and wall, brown water marks in bathroom around shower.no blinds or net when opening curtains people opp could see straight into the room so no privacy.

Plenty of choice for continental. Tea, coffee and hot breakfast served at table. Don’t order poached eggs, one was slaughtered, the other hard. Room in slight need of attention, re missing plaster where aerial lead from wall severed, paint splashes on dresser, marks on wall, but as it’s more than halfway through the season I guess it’s too busy to do at the moment.

Breakfast was very good apart from the Poached Eggs had hard yolks and the plate was swimming in the vinegar water used for cooking them. See above comment Re-Breakfast. My wife uses a wheelchair but the Hotels descriptions on line does not indicate that there is no ramp into the Hotel, which meant carrying the wheelchair up and down approximately 8 steps, out of or into the building. Also, the disabled person had to climb or descend these same steps.

Only the location and the breakfast The room was very small. The shower enclosure in the bathroom was extremely dirty. A sofa bed had been prepared for our daughter, but it was so old and uncomfortable that she couldn’t sleep. The windows wouldn’t open; they were broken. The ventilation was very poor. Overall, the hotel was full of dust and dirt. The hallways, dining area, and everywhere else were dusty and unclean.

The staff were helpful and we were able to get changed before our room was ready. Nice breakfast. Busy and noisy road at night.

Lovely character hotel with large rooms Bed and some furniture needs upgrading

Great location and friendly staff. The room was a very good size and well equiped. Showwr needs servicing, no catch on bathroom door and no extractor fan in bathroom. In the heat the bed needed a sheet rather than a quilt.

Staff were very good and approachable. Breakfast was also very good with nice setting. Some areas are becoming ‘tired’ and could do with decoration. Our carpet in our room was heavily stained. Wallpaper showed signs of water ingress in bathroom. On arrival, bedside cabinet had soiled cutlery and napkin in the drawer. It was hoot during our stay with no fan or air conditioning. Windows were left open which made for a noisy (at times) environment due to passing traffic along the sea front.

The breakfast was expensive for what it was and not the best quality bacon eggs were not great so we opted for other options on the other days, and this was better as I would of complained but it was ok, but very expensive for four nights stay here. Breakfast, and in our room my daughter only had a sofa bed which for the money seems very expensive to not even have a single bed in our room.

We enjoyed the break

The junior suite was elegant, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a dream! No airco, no fridge and no iron in the room.

Lovely hotel with spacious room and huge bathroom. Friendly staff. Great location. No fans provided in hot weather so the room was a bit stuffy.
