The New England

Convenient location with good facilities and a lovely breakfast room Audrey and all the staff were extremely welcoming. In particular Audrey very kindly arranged for a room to be available for me to shower after the Eastbourne triathlon - and therefore after check out time which was really great and very welcome. I thought it was quite expensive but guess it is the going rate for the location at this time of year. Also parking is quite difficult in that area and there is limited parking on site, which is available on a first come first served basis. Again, probably not unusual for B&Bs in this location.

We Love this place we stay here when visiting family in Eastbourne it's honey with little extras and very comfortable. The host and her colleague are lovely ladies who are always happy to help. The rooms are very clean, the bed is comfy breakfast is delicious what more do you need. The kettle could be better. A base and kettle would be better than one you have to unplug to fill

Parking was awkward

Great location, directly opposite the green and beach with a restaurant across the road.

Brilliant location, close to everything yet away from the crowds of the central beaches. The New England is one of the nicest B&Bs we've stayed at and the staff was absolutely exceptional. Make time for breakfast - it's really good! Comfortable bed, huge balcony, nice shower... everything was just wonderful. Eastbourne is a little gem on the sea, highly recommended!

Breakfast was lovely, location ideal for walking along the sea front. The shower over the bath was the only minor criticism.

Wonderful location, superb clean room. Staff were wonderful, especially at breakfast, which was also awesome. Would definitely stay here again when in Eastbourne. It is a very quiet place and friendly. A little gem. Blinds in the bedroom were not very secure. Fell down when trying to open them in the morning. Think blind was rolled too tightly. Apart from that hiccup, everything was nice.

The support at the New England was exceptionally good. Really very friendly. The breakfast is very good. I had a special request (a small lunch), which was wonderfully fulfilled. Service was excellent. The hotel is located right next to the beach. However, there is a road in between. I recommend closing the windows in the morning because of the car noise.

breakfast had a huge variety of choice,from fresh fruit bowl and yogurts,to full english plates,all perfectly turned out..off road parking for car..we had room 4 which has a fantastic sea view and big balcony,great comfy bed and scented pillows.. did not like only having to stay 3 days!!!

breakfast is amazin,room was big and light with very comfortable bed,all the comforts you need,very good "honesty"bar as well nothing!!
