Great location, right by the sea front. Close to some cafes and shops. The cleanliness of the room and property as a whole. Usage of the fridge in the breakfast room. Excellent Wi-Fi. Quiet and peaceful. Comfortable bed. Nothing really. But if I absolutely have to mention something... I'd say that had I travelled alone instead of with my partner, I might have felt a wee bit uncomfortable/unsafe as there was no staff around. We did get a phone number from the person who checked us in, whom we phoned once regarding the heating and they helped us out straight away. They were very helpful.

no staff around, left to my self even when I rang the staff bell. Like really they did not care and just left me to myself, they only wanted the money and did not care about me. quite isolating location and hotel as no one there, did not feel welcome.

Breakfast wasn't included in the price but I got a nice surprise, it was available for free every morning. Good selection. Continental: bread, croissants, yoghurt etc. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Tea/coffee was available in the room, which was exactly what I needed :) There was no electricity/hot water in my room, but I got a different room so the issue was solved

The room was clean. The location was good. Check-in time was incorrect so we were left waiting for an hour. The information about the Devonia in the room was muddled. Eg name of hotel, check in time. The shower had very poor pressure. The TV had no signal. The milk in the room had gone off. The breakfast facilities were very limited downstairs. There was no-one in the building to help.

The room was clean. Bed comfortable and lots of biscuits! Road was noisy. Very dingy entrance and staircase. No help with the luggage ( my husband has a dodgy back).

Nice location right on the seafront with easy access to the town and promenade. Great sized room, had a nice stay. Room only with no breakfast service, but a selection of cereals and bread for toast available. Plenty of places to eat out for breakfast or supermarkets to buy food.

no breakfast, location was good we stayed at devonia about 10 years ago and it was lovely then, now it is dirty, rubbish in the front garden, bedding was dirty, no hot water until we asked, on one came to service the room for the 2 night stay

Good room space, no signs of wear. Downstairs lounge and breakfast an added unexpected bonus. Lighting in room good. Chairs useful. Freeview TV reception was awful. Nextdoor had to check us in as owner was called away. There were only 2 rooms occupied (us and another guest) and we both got put on the 2nd floor! No room servicing, no Xmas decorations, found a cake bar wrapper under the end of the bed, not enough hangers, mattress quite old/thin, no blackout on window, light in shower not working, shelf in shower useless, WiFi code in guest info in room wrong.
