By The Sea Bed and Breakfast

Room was exceptionally clean. Great view of the sea. Breakfast was very good and Mathew, the host was friendly and always helpful.

The property was well situated on the front with easy on-street parking. Our room was clean and airy with all required facilities. The bed was most comfortable. Matthew, the host, was very welcoming and friendly and provided an excellent breakfast.

Very friendly and relaxed stay, great food, comfy bed, brilliant views from room 6 too -

Friendly owner, decent sized room, clean Balcony was shabby and did not directly overlook seafront/sea. Owner asked for payment at time of serving my breakfast so it got cold while sorting out details.

The staff was wonderfull. So was the breakfast.

We were a family of four persons, with two rooms for a weekend (two nights). The rooms were very comfortable, quiet and clean. The breakfast was excellent, and the host is very kind. We came with a car, although the B&B is not far from the train station: the place is very easy to be reached and we found no problem in parking in the street almost in front of the B&B. We don't understand why the sink in the British bathrooms is so small, and why there are two taps for cold and hot water, instead of a mixer tap. But it seems it is like that everywhere in UK.

Lovely room facing seawards , with a view of the bowling greens to your left. Not many rooms and a breakfast time you can select. Food was cooked to order, so nice and fresh and hot. Friendly host who made you feel welcomed the moment you stepped indoors, well done mathew. Nothing to dislike

The location was excellent, the bedroom was clean, the bed was comfy, the bathroom and shower were excellent, and the breakfast was excellent. Our hosts, Mathew, and his wife were really lovely we had the best weekend, thank you Couldn't really fault our stay. It was excellent

We booked a room at the rear of the property which was nice and quiet. It was a comfortable room the bathroom was quite small but the shower was good, and we were served a very good breakfast with fresh fruit,yogurts, cereal and a choice of freshly cooked breakfast.The owners made us feel very welcome. There are some parking spaces at the back, but if they are full you can park on the surrounding roads. It's across the road from the seafront and is about a 15 minute walk to the pier. If we were to visit Eastbourne again we would definitely try to stay here. Nothing.

Exceptional

The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The help yourself to cereal, fruit juice, toast, fresh fruit salad and yogurt options are just the accompaniments to a beautiful cooked breakfast. Withe unlimited supply of tea and coffee. All was good nothing to be identified as needing improvement.

Great location on Eastbourne coast, Mathew was very helpful and the room was big.

Superb

Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. All areas were spotlessly clean. Host was very friendly and obliging. Our room was in the eaves which made it quite small with extremely low ceilings in places. Bathroom was fitted with a bath which we like but would have liked shower facilities too. Bed was smaller than we’re used to and the pillows weren’t good. Because of the size of the room there were no surfaces for personal items.
