Very convenient to the town and the beach and tennis tournaments. The staff were friendly. The breakfast which was (included) was also good. It was really good value for the price The room was clean but tired in its decor

Well run clean and tidy hotel with very friendly and helpful staff who went beyond expectations. Good range of breakfast cereals and cooked breakfast menu. Unfortunately had one morning with no hot water - cold showers all round, but fixed straight way with no repeat. The hotel was advertised by Booking.com as onsite restaurant available but this was not the case only breakfast. We had not expected to eat out every night but we understand at low season a restaurant is not always viable, but it was one of our filters on the Booking.com search

Good location The room stank of bleach, the female receptionist was very miserable,no customer service skills. She moaned that my dod barked although only when the room opposite open and shut their room door. Not really dog friendly as advertised.

I have stayed here before and had breakfast and it was really nice Needs big bottle of water in room for kettle etc

Close to town. Room was compact but clean and nicely decorated.

Clean and conveniently situated. Easy parking with parking permit Well cooked breakfast As normal with solo traveler you get the room with the worst view

Staff were excellent and accommodating, room was clean and newly renovated, great value for the price. Also great location if you’re arriving from the Seven Sisters hike.

The staff here were friendly and greeted us when we walked in and it was great value for money. The beds were comfortable and the carpet looked new. We could make a coffee in the room and it was spacious. It's an older hotel so it's not going to be the same as the View. But then View is three times the price. And I like older buildings. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment. But overall I was very satisfied and came back the day after for another night because my work was extended a day. It takes a little while for the water to run cold at the sink, but really I can't think of anything else negative. Perhaps just remind guests that they get a room key and a front door key when there is no one on reception in the middle of the night. At first I wondered how to get back in after I had to leave for a short time in the night, then realised I could open the door with my extra key.

There were two double beds in the room, a bonus! There was plenty of room to move around even if my disabled friend had been in a wheelchair. The cooked breakfast was not from a buffet but freshly cooked so the plates were very hot on Saturday when they arrived-less so on Sunday! However, all the food was good. One tiny point-we commented on the first day about the wash handbasin not holding water as the catch to release the plug was broken. Unfortunately,a part had to be bought so it could not be repaired till the day after we left(Sunday!) The staff were most apologetic but it meant I could not keep my water cool! The fan in the bathroom kept going for sometime after the light/shower was switched off but, at least, that kept the bathroom cool! It seemed that many family members worked at the hotel, giving it a nice feel. Handbasin plug

Location was excellent, and stall pleasant The mattress was very hard so hardly slept

The location is perfect. ZERO customer centered service. We wanted to use the lift and when the door opened, there was housekeeping stuff in it. We told the receptionist that said: "oh, yeah...it's been used". TV only has open free channels, no streaming or casting available.
