Banana Grove El Nido

Not peaceful location. No food around & difficult to sleep due to outside disturbance.

Had the best stay! Stayed for multiple nights before too and might come back some more. The people working, living there are so kind too.

The owner is the sweetest, she always arranged for us when we had problems or wanted to extend. One night the electricity was cut (in the whole city) and she insisted in offering us the night for free. The garden is beautiful, the breakfast is simple but we had daily fresh fruits, the people here are open minded, the pillows were so confortable, and its surprisingly quiet at night (when there is no power cut). We felt very welcomed in their little family. For us, everything was fine but you should not expect more from this than what it is: Little bamboo huts that don't have the most comfortable beds with a mosquito net, light and fan. The hut is not perfectly sealed so there can be insects and some moisture if it rains. There are shared bathrooms with simple local showers that don't have a lot of pressure and you have to walk a bit to get there. Bottom line: It feels a lot like camping with extra comfort. Just don't expect a hotel room which would be much more expensive in El Nido. We decided to stay and ended up loving our stay. The owner even offered us a better price when we wanted to extend because of the previous power outage. If you are open minded and come with low expectation, you will love your stay ?

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast!

Annie is a wonderful lady. She helped us with so much and is a genuine soul. It was really nice to feel cared for by a host in such a remarkable way. The included breakfast was really great. Room was a good size. Bathrooms were clean and toilets had bug coils in them. Lounge area is awesome. Line outside the cabins to hang wet clothes really came in handy. Shower pressure isn’t great. Not a ton to do around within a reasonable walking distance. Kinda have to get a scooter. The road behind the cabins with scooters going down it at all hours of the night combined with the barking dogs in area combined with the roosters did not leave much room for a good sleep. Bring heavy duty earplugs.

The property is very nice, a bit rustic but it’s part aof the fun, Very cute little houses. Annie and all the staff were si great they helped us for everything and gave us advices for thibg to do and see. Annie even took us on a tour with her friends which allowed us to see different thing than the normal tours without the tourist. I highly recommend the place it was si great

It’s like a backpacker place, so super friendly staff and guests, good price (breakfast included) and environment is nice. Location is a bit far from the center, which is a good thing. They rent scooter, so we could go everyday to the center for the tours, but also to the beaches nearby.

Nice clean place, very attentive staff, yummy food. I loved it there, even if we stayed only one night before going to our holiday destination.

Very nice to stay in the banana plantation as you're in nature and you feel it. It a simple accommodation but beautiful to stay at and very good value for the price.

The power is always out, which is quite hard to live with when it is over 30 degrees outside.

really cute little bungalows in a quiet neighborhood outside of El Nido. the staff was great with booking us tours and getting us motorbikes. the bed and room was really comfortable and pleasant, and the free breakfast every morning was great!

The owner Anna and the staff hands down made this stay! so kind, helpful and friendly. They organized a scooter, airport transportation, laundry and delicious meals for breakfast every morning. I also enjoy sitting in the lounge area talking to fellow travelers. It was a little far out of town, but that was clearly stated in the description and reviews.

Annie was extremely kind, generous and helpful. Excellent breakfast, with interesting selection. You don’t need a scooter but it helps to visit beaches or go to el Nido. There are several good quality restaurants nearby. The shower is a cold water bucket but we got used to it very quickly.

Friendly host and the best breakfast you will get in the philippines. Very close to Lio Beach, that is breathtaking beats Mosquitoes

No hot water in the shower, no toilet flush (you have to do it manually ?). The hygiene is below fair for me in the bathroom.

Annie was a really welcome host. The free 'à la carte' breakfast was really good and also the dinners she cooked for us were really great. The cabins were cosy and clean and the beds were very good and comfortable. There was no aircon, but we didn't needed it either, since it wasn't really warm and we even switched off the fan during the night. During our stay, typhoon Paeng was passing and this was creating a lot of rain and therefore the paths were quite muddy.
