Isla Amara Resort

Location Bad Internet connection, staff were not friendly and rooms not properly cleaned. Food not so good. Over all i would not recommend this resort. Very very bad !

I loved everything about the hotel. So pretty, comfortable, quiet and so many restaurants and beach nearby.

None Service… you have to tell them twice before getting what you requested. There was no face towel or hand towel in our room until we asked. The receptionist did not tell us the whole detail when we checked in, i.e. no complimentary drinks and no wifi password info was given until we asked. However there was a family of foreigners that checked in and I saw how the checked in process was done. I told the receptionist that she needs to be fair with her customers. Also, Location is almost 30 minutes away from the town proper. Never again at Isla Amara resort.

Everything! Had an amazing stay. Super clean and beautiful room. Basically on the beach. Lovely pool and pool area. Great staff, super helpful and friendly. That it was full booked so that we couldn’t extend lol

i like almost everything including the staff. based on my own experience 1. i waited for 30mins before i can finally check in to mu room. my check in time is 2pm but they endorsed the keycard to me past 30mins already. 2. there is no toilet paper available inside the comfort room. 3. the door keeps on alarming upon closing the door. you ned ro slam the door so it wont alarm.

The property is in general clean. We had bed bugs in our room. And we didn’t find out about it until the day we check out. Now I’m concerned if some got to our clothings and may have brought them home

The wifi is not good or nothing at all at some room. So you need to go close to the lobby or receptionist area to get wifi

Very accessible and near lio airport and the beach! Good breakfast options also. The staff were generally helpful, though they appeared to lack effective communication skills. It was also disappointing that there was no alternative option provided for airport transfer when their service was unavailable, which forced us to return to our previous hotel—thankfully, our previous hotel generously accommodated us by providing transportation. During breakfast, the staff were noticeably loud behind the kitchen area, which disrupted the dining experience while guests were eating. The room itself was acceptable; however, there was visible dust or possible mold behind the headboard and in the bathroom. Some fixtures were already falling apart, and the air-conditioning was not functioning properly, making the room uncomfortably hot.

It's a nicely designed boutique accommodation which is close to restaurants and stores. Room is spacious enough and we have everything we needed except for a working safe. The hospitality and service of Claire was top notch. Jessa from reservations, Hanz and Kian made our stay and our friends' stay comfortable. They have a small pool which is about right for the size of the property. Breakfast selection is small but satisfactory for our stay. They have softserve at 4pm which was a nice touch. Overall, I would recommend this location. The safety deposit box is old and not functional. Whilst the front desk did offer to have it fixed, we opted out. I hope these are upgraded. Also, noticed the pool isn't cleaned up which was kind of strange.

The service staff was excellent. Always helpful. The location and easy access to the beach front, beach front restaurants, and the area's little community shopping/food center. The airport transfers were appreciated, as well as the free ice cream in the afternoon. I liked the pool in the middle, but at the same time, as all the rooms faced the pool, it did get noisy when the pool was occupied. I found the price value to amenities and services fell short of expectations. The toiletries were sparse, the restaurant was always empty- it looked closed. It was only occupied during the free breakfast time. Food was so so, and the restaurant had a greasy smell. It was unfortunately raining during our entire stay and the resort didn't provide a single umbrella nor was it available if you had requested. Given the rains, the communal spaces were also closed- as these would get wet. The areas you could hang out (apart from your room) became very limited due to the weather. The access road in front would flood- making the path to the street a bit more challenging.

Everything’s great! The staff is very accommodating, and the hotel is just a short walk from the beach. Plus, there’s free ice cream, a good breakfast, and it’s close to some great restaurants. You’ll also find a Mercury Drug right near the hotel, so you’ll have everything you need within reach. Nothing.

We enjoyed the pool and the nice vibes around it. The staff were very kind, accommodating, and really nice. The breakfast buffet is not much but they try to have a good selection daily. The hotel itself is very near Lio Beach which made it very nice to swim early in the morning. The room we initially had (Room 109) smelled like molds or wet wood, it was a really bad smell. I have allergies with molds which made it hard for me to breathe when going inside and staying in the room. I had to endure this for 2 nights (I just wear mask when indoors) until I mentioned it to Kate who agreed to move us to a freshly cleaned room (Room 111) and it helped me sleep much better that night. Thanks a lot for the quick action on this. :) Please make sure the rooms are well ventilated all the time - helps prevent molds or provide air purifier for each room.

The location was perfect, near airport and restaurants.

Very near a beautiful beach and not crowded by tourists There were black molds in the bathroom sink

Always helpful always smiling and super happy. We loved to see her smile at the front desk upon arrival and each morning.

The hotel was very good have nice pool and the stuff was very kind, they didn’t have a room with balcony as we ordered so they upgrade us to the suite, Location is on the Leo beach which is nice but 15 minutes from the center which has more restaurants and nightlife with scooter it’s fine WiFi was bad
