Thunderbird Motel

The bedding, pillows and blankets were better than expected and I was able to sleep easily. The continental breakfast was fine; about average for the size of the property with limited options. There was also very little outside noise in the room, which was better than I expected. My only real complaint is that the room had an odd odor upon first entering the room. Maybe a little musky? However, the odor quickly disapated (or I became used to it) and it was not bothersome. Considering the price, this is a great motel option and a good value.

We very much enjoyed are stay and definitely would return.

The room seemed quite clean other than a pretty nasty carpet. A lot of road noise, but not really any noise between rooms and other guests. I'm really not sure where it's getting rather high ratings. I didn't eat any of the breakfast, as the office area was very hot.

Coming off a big camping trip, this place was exactly what we needed. The dog friendly option was huge, the beds were comfy, and the staff was very friendly.

Clean, older but in excellent shape with a nice pool and quiet AC. A seperate bath from sink. A table and two chairs with a desk also. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. Fridge. Reasonable free breakfast options.

I told my two boys, "we should try the "Thunderbird" on our way home" since we loved the colorful and old-school road sign and because it is centrally located in Elko. Sure enough, the property did not disappoint! The front office staff was extremely friendly and check in was a breeze. Clean room and bathroom and we watched the multiple cable channels on the flat screen. My two sons enjoyed the free wifi. I would stay at the Thunderbird again since we drive through Elko once/twice per year it was price conscientious, clean, and has a friendly staff. Thanks Thunderbird!

Great customer service! The front desk staff works hard and is always so helpful. The hotel is conveniently located close to everything, which made getting around easy. Having laundry facilities and an ice machine available was very convenient. The pool and complimentary breakfast were also great additions and made our stay even better. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience!

Really clean. Great great great staff. I recommend it for it’s chill vibe and convenient location. It has some great AC too!

Clean room but hard to climb thr stairs to second floor rooms, housekeeping staff likes to knock on the door way before check out kind of rude.

I liked the pool. Did not like the bathroom sink faucets with missing screens causing major splash issue.

Everyone here was nice and helpful. The room was large and accommodating as well as clean. My kids even had cable tv to watch on a large tv. The AC worked great. Check in and check out was a snap and there were no surprises. We will be staying again on our trip back through town. Thank you for the stay.

There were a few stains on the carpet and the lamp shade was cracked (dated), but the bathroom was super clean, the towels and sheets were soft & fresh, staff was friendly, nice breakfast. It was nice to have a fridge/freezer as we had Cornish Pasties we bought and wanted to take home to family. We felt comfortable.
