Hampton Inn White Plains/Tarrytown

Very convenient location and the price is correct for area. But the property needs some serious upgrades and remodeling. Furniture is very old the years are adding up overall.

I'd stay there again for sure.

Cleanliness did not seem to be a high priority. There was a big stain on the rug, a disintegrating door frame in the bathroom, and a leaky faucet. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is definitely overpriced.

The room seemed to be clean but the toilet kept running and we had to go into the tank and fix it. It still didn’t work right. There was black mold in the shower calk. The place needs an overhaul. The one good thing is that the hotel is near 287 highway.

The bathrooms and tubs showed their ages and was disappointingly old looking.

Most of my interactions were with the front desk. He was lovely and very helpful. Parking was initially unclear because on hillside. Most hotels now have safety feature of using your card to your room to get upstairs. Not true here. TV service was very basic and the TV itself was unclear vocally and picture unstable. I know this is Hilton's lower end hotel but it was truely lower end

Our stay was wonderful. The staff at check in was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Perfect way to end our road trip.

Extremely run down!!!! Wallpaper was peeling in my room, bathroom vanity was in rough shape, tub was old, and the carpet was disgustingly gross!!!! Mattress seemed real old. Extremely disappointed for a Hampton inn!!!! Sidewalk is literally crumbling. Didn’t even have a diet soda for me to purchase. The eggs were like rubber pancakes.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The breakfast had a good variety of options and everything was fresh. The location was convenient, and parking was easy. Overall, the hotel provided excellent value for the price. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

It was so bowed I kept rolling to the middle of the bed from either side
