Clean and great location and price.

Gross! Checked in after a long day of travel only to find out our room was in another building we had to drive to. The new building and room were run down and extreme dirty. And sound traveled so much that it was hard to sleep. I heard my neighbors' every move. What is dipcited on the website was a very different stay than what we got. I feel tricked.

We didn't know where breakfast was so didn't have it. The towels were stained which was offputting.

Don't know the woman's name, I think it may have been the manager, but she was super nice and helpful. Down home and inviting. I enjoyed everything

Here's the reality: it's still a roadside motel. Very noisy from the main road and very poor insulation between the rooms (mind you they even offer earplugs haha). No breakfast even though it's listed as a 3 star hotel. And here's what really did me in: housekeeping knocked in the middle of the day and I told them I don't need anything. They insisted I open the door. I did open, didn't have a problem with that, but did tell them it was not legal to make me do so unless they suspect illegal activity, in which case they have to call the police. To which the housekeeping guy started yelling at me in a rather hostile way saying that he can do whatever he wants. Definitely not a pleasant aftertaste all in all. I will stay in a chain hotel next time.

I like the bathroom. I didn’t understand how the breakfast portion of the stay worked. That’s on me. I should have asked.

This was the most confusing check in process. We were directed to a different property than we had booked. The check in was at someone's residence. So weird. We were told that we would have to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to our room. We had requested a ground floor room. After almost cancelling the room altogether, they did find a ground floor room for us at a totally different property. I guess they were all owned by the same person. The room had a full kitchen which is why we booked it in the first place. However, the area around the property was very run down and sketchy. I would not stay anywhere near this property again.

The price was great and the staff were very friendly. Easy access to the town. Very eclectic. This was a very interesting place. We reserved 3 rooms. To access the rooms there are only stairs and the place has three floors. We were on the second floor. The twin beds were rollaway cots or a trundle bed, not suitable for 15-19 year olds. They are too small. Our king bed was not all that comfortable. Very dated and very odd set up. We only stayed one night.

Large room, balcony, kitchen and laundry facilities Offsite checkin. Elevator out of service
-
It was a full kitchen and bath with a small balcony in a quaint building. Every thing was good!
-
Actual room was not at address advertised. Located 1/2 mile away. No breakfast at actual room location. Check in was slow as molasses with initial room key given to an already occupied room. Travel back to check in and better luck the second try.

Disappointing

Kichen and room size The toilet was not clean when I checked in, which was a disappointing first impression. The check-in process was extremely slow. It felt like the property was being run the old-fashioned way, with everything done on paper instead of using a computerized system. The property also does not have an elevator. If you have heavy luggage, be prepared to carry it yourself, as no one offered to help move our bags. Even if the staff offered to help, I would recommend handling your own luggage, as the owners appear to be an elderly couple and it would be difficult for them to assist with heavy bags. Another inconvenience is that the property operates from two different locations. When my friend checked in, they took an Uber to the office for check-in, only to find out they then had to call another Uber to get to the actual property where they were staying. Overall, the experience was not very convenient or welcoming.

The place needs updating . It’s all worn out. Though for my family, the place had sufficient space. All of the amenities are so outdated. For the price paid, I think we could have a better place or equally same amenities but with cleaner place.
