Great rooms. Love the decor. Located on the Chena River so beautiful location. Close to the airport. Staff are very friendly. We've stayed there before and will always come back.

The room was not impressive at all. The pillows were all hard and big. Very hard to sleep on. This hotel is going downhill. There is a good restaurant next to it though.

I'm Alaskan and this place felt like an amazing getaway. Super pretty flowers & grounds, cozy, cute & clean cabins, beautiful scenery, Aveda products in the bathrooms, could go on & on. Only complaint was hard, heavy pillows. Would 100% recommend staying here.

The hotel grounds are nice. River front, games, and fire pits are all nice. The place feels ancient. The beds are unbelievably uncomfortable and old. The move, they sink, you can feel the springs. I had heard it was old, it felt it. It’s in desperate need of updating. Even the blankets look like they were from 1982. In addition, the restaurant was mediocre at best but charged pretty outrageous prices. The outdoor dining was nice, inside felt, smelt, and looked like an old bar - not historic, just old. Lastly, someone kept putting the lobby TV on CNN, clearly a staff. The last thing I want to see is a bunch of negative news each day I am on a trip.

Great place but be aware that if you have a flight that check in is before 6 am you are not able to have their outstanding good breakfast

In the past I have always loved staying here. Very nice place, great staff. That being said, i will be staying elsewhere in the future. One thing that was appreciated was the complimentary Continental Breakfast, and after 20+ years of enduring whatever the cost of the stay they have now done away with it. Not only did it help in saving money money, it was time saving to be able to just walk in get your food eat, tip, and leave. Maybe some won't mind but this is a major disappointment to me.

The place was very attractive and used good products in the bathroom.

Room 418 is in an internet dead spot, you have to stand near the door to connect to the hotel to internet.

This was an awesome hotel with a wonderful restaurant, northern light movie, ice cream, social, lots of history and walls.

Staff was very friendly!! The breakfast was good but needed to have more items at $18.95. The room was clean. Shuttle was very helpful.
