La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fairbanks Airport

Very clean, quiet. I’d stay here again!

Breakfast was very good for the average person. There was no Gluten Free alternatives available and I can only drink decaffeinated coffee and there was none there to drink.

The bathroom was dirty had a lot of hair on the floor from previous tenants. Also the room had poor smell.

LaQuinta Inn is located right near the Fairbanks airport. Still, we were not aware of any jet noise during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty much what you would expect from a hotel continental breakfast. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The inn is located just up the street from the Riverboat Discovery. It's easy walking distance, but one of our party had a heart attack last year and we were concerned about him walking that distance. The hotel offered to have their shuttle driver carry us down to the riverboat. We did decide to walk, but really appreciated the offer. The only difficulty was the lack of floor space in the room. My wife and I each had a full size suitcase, and the beds were really the only places we could open them. But of course, you can't have a suitcase on your bed when you're trying to sleep. My wife found enough room to open hers on the floor, but I had to move the chair away from the desk to make room under the desk to open mine. A minor inconvenience, but worth noting if you need a lot of floor space.

Unfortunately they didn’t have a regular breakfast staff. It was hit or miss if breakfast was made. Front staff was nice. No close by place to eat. One restaurant about a mile away.

The bar and restaurant were not opened as hours were advertised. Late night hallway parties, called front desk 3 times, never was addressed. Will never return or recommend

The staff at La Quinta was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and willing to go out of their way to help out. The only negative that really comes to mind is some maintenance in the bathroom...other than that, we enjoyed our stay immensely!

Winston at the front desk managed a last minute stay with ease and set us up in a room that exceeded our expectation. Admittedly, we are not used to the La Quinta brand, but this property looks newly renovated though staff said it was last renovated in 2016. The breakfast was familiar and mediocre, but on par with competitors like Courtyard. And free.

There were sticky spots from something that had been spilled on the carpet prior to our arrival. The bathroom toilet seat was not clean and had feces on the seat and the shower needed maintenance on the faucet and controls as well as a better cleaning.

I didn’t stay here. I’m sure it’s very nice, but I don’t know what this about. I stayed with my travel group.

Clean, convenient and super helpful. They picked us up from the airport at 1am in the morning. Excellent stay
