The property was nice. Nothing was bad at all.
-
Secluded, good location with cozy atmosphere and everything you need. Bathrooms can get busy at different times of the day
-
very noisy on airport and train routes.
-
A hidden gem in plain sight. The cabin is new and tucked back in the trees. We were welcomed and also had everything we needed in this little wooded oasis.

the girl host was welcoming. the place is right near/in anchorage so that helps. I am an experienced traveler familiar with hostel environments, my experience at here was disappointing and unacceptable. Upon arrival, the girl was welcoming; however, the accommodations were not habitable IMHO. The bed linens provided were unclean, the room had a stale odor, and the overall environment resembled a homeless shelter rather than a traveler's hostel. Furthermore, the room and the shower area were completely infested with mosquitoes, making it impossible to use the facilities or stay the night. Due to these conditions, including the lack of cleanliness and the presence of mosquitoes in the common and sleeping areas, I left the premises immediately. Further more , there was an old man in the dorm that I was allotted bed in and he looked to me a homeless man instead of a traveler ( if he had any disease, I don't want to catch any).

Very nice place never stayed somewhere like this place. People were friendly even thought it was after hours when I rank the bell.
-
The bed room was a disgrace no electricity no heating one blanket it was that cold I couldn’t sleep in morning couldn’t move
-
Great place! More relaxing than a hotel with a fire pit, grills, and full kitchen to use and make the stay more enjoyable
-
Cute room, pretty grounds, friendly staff, large kitchen available Only 1 out of 3 toilets was operational while we were there, water for shower was only briefly hot.
-
Nothing available Room was dirty, not enough light,no air circulation.Surprise there was no lock outside or inside, No proper road to enter with bags, Mosquito insect outside and inside the room.We have asked to change the room due to without lock was not safe they have asked for extra money for cleaning the room where we just put our luggage. We asked refund it was refused.Staff was very rude.We have left the hotel within One hour..

The only thing I didn't like about the stay was the weather, which is always a variable. It was rainy and cold during my stay. The place was quiet. The guests varied and interesting.
-
No, it's kinda like camping but that was the expectation.
-
The kitchen area was not organized or clean. The refrigerator was gross. The only sink you had to wash face or brush teeth had a community towel, no paper towels.
-
Very interesting place. I would definitely bring my grandson here. He would enjoy the tree house stay. Nice, it was close to airport & a good rest.
-
We enjoyed our stay in the tree house. It was warm and cozy and it had electricity! Svens is close to the airport and a road that you hear a decent amount of noise from both.
-
Location was decent. Bathroom facilities were decent and clean, and staff friendly. Did not realise from details while booking that the room was a wall tent, with outside noise very evident at night. Maybe I didn't look closely enough at details, but the main photo shown was of a cabin, not a tent.
-
They were very accommodating and kind! We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location and neat little cabins
-
We stayed in the Indiana Jones Treehouse, which was a unique and wonderful experience. The dry cabin has electricity and heat with a comfortable bed and a porch with a table and view of the wooded surroundings. The shared bathrooms and warm showers were consistently clean. Occasional short-term aircraft noise overhead approaching or departing the nearby airport.
-
How open and inviting it is I wish they had bikes to rent since not many people rent cars
-
The openness No bike rent
