We only stayed for one night due to a business trip, so we didn't have any major issues during our stay. We only stayed for one night due to a business trip, so we didn't have any major issues during our stay.

An affordable and decent sized room over a bar in a great location at the top of Fitzroy. Tram just outside the bar to bring you to the CBD. Plenty of bathrooms, a laundry service, and okay kitchen.

Bed and the Doona, detest doonas V

The location was excellent. It was also easy to check in. There is no air conditioning and it was very uncomfortable even with fan on. I tried to keep window open but it was very loud with traffic all night long.

I used to gig at this hotel so it was fun to stay upstairs. Bit of a weird experience, never met anyone, codes for gate and doors, shower across the hall. Room fan was a bit busted, bathroom pretty rundown.

The room looked clean and functional. There was a working fan and someone had closed the curtains to keep the room cool, which was thoughtful on a 35 degree day, with no aircon. I didn't actually stay longer than 10 minutes in the room - as a solo female traveller, I wasn't comfortable that the bedroom door couldn't be locked from the inside. It was a Monday so there were no staff on site and the pub below was closed. I just didn't feel safe there, since I was on my own.

Easy check-in and out. Comfy bed, decent sized room. Nice of you to include earplugs. Nice shared kitchen area. Good ratio of shared facilities to rooms. Really hot, needed an aircon. The pedestal fan did help though. Shower ceilings need a paint. Soap dispensers pulled off walls looks super daggy.

Great location in Fitzroy. Nice to have a kitchen. Plenty of bathrooms/showers available to use (shared). Room was a decent size and the blackout curtains were a plus. The staff forgot to message me entry details but were very fast to respond when I wrote. I might recommend a female specific toilet…sharing with men can a little ick. By the end of the day the bathrooms often had a urine smell from men ‘missing’ the toilet. Not a fault of the hotel’s by any means but something to consider.

Quiet, good kitchen Keypad for the door, too low, good if you were a pygmy,or a midget, room was a bit rundown

It was nice to stay there. Location was good for me!!! There are many cafes in Fitzroy. We can take a bus or tram near here.

Noise

Very easy check-in and access. Facilities were clean and maintained and the room was surprisingly warm and comfortable. Some facilities such as the bathroom are a bit older but still perfectly useable and clean. The floors being creaky, the noisy main road and the electronic locks on each of the rooms could be somewhat noisy but not overly.

They had shower gel, shampoo, and a towel. Ear plugs were provided. They had a fan and a heater in my room. The bed had uneven springs, so need to adjust a bit to feel comfortable.

Great No tv in room

I got stuck in a toilet and the number I was given didn't pick up :( but that's ok I got out eventually

Location was great, close to public transport, walking distance to uni and good restaurants. The ear plugs supplied were a nice touch. Wasn't impressed by the pair of underpants left under the bed from a previous traveller, making me wonder if the room had been vacuumed and cleaned before my arrival. The very squeaky bed was annoying. No female-only bathroom meant the toilet floors had urine around each toilet because men clearly can't pee into a toilet.
