Price too expensive - no elevator however they were helpful

The air conditioning worked well. The location was very good. There are 30 steps to get to the check in desk with no elevator or staff assistance. The WiFi does not work unless you are next to the router. The room was decorated in what could be called the Ikea Dormatory Collection. The bed was like sleeping on a wooden plank. Breakfast was included, but was an odd collection of foods. Old fashioned keys for door and safe. Bathroom was only adequate. Staff was mostly indifferent.

The location was right in the center of the city. Everything I wanted to do was within a 10 minute walk. The staff was able to give me great recommendations on places to get dinner/drinks. The building is a fun piece of history.

When you order be shure that there are 25 steps to climb. If you have luggage or baggage concider that you should take it without elevator. No way to liqudate reservation without 1st day penalty.

It was in a great location! Great restaurant across the street. The staff was super nice. There is free breakfast in the morning that was delcious. We had a great stay!!!! Nothing. We loved it

Great location central to many sites and activities. A very nice breakfast included. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Location No elevator. When I searched on Booking, I requested a hotel with an elevator. The Hotel Academia has only one floor, but it is high up. You have to climb almost two floors to reach the front desk.

The location sets you in the heart of Florence, you only walk from the station to the hotel when you arrive, and walk back when you leave. All the main monuments are at your reach. Clean, and checks all the boxes.

Nice location, as it is a perfect midway between the Duomo and the main train station. Different shops and restaurants around. Good breakfast available. Nice staff.

No elevator

Perfect hotel to stay in Florence. Location is great, personal is great, everything is clean. 10 out of 10!

Beautiful property, clean, comfy beds and well maintained None

The location was ideal for our stay. The accommodations were comfortable, staff friendly, and breakfast was included. I appreciated that we could leave our luggage in a safe location on the day of check-out as we had some time before our flight.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is a very short walk to all of the major sites in the area as well as the train station. It is extremely easy to get around. There are many food options and gelato options in the nearby area. The staff was excellent - kind and knowledgeable. Bathroom was large with big fluffy bath towels There is no lift (elevator) and there are many, many steps. Breakfast was definitely continental style and despite there being multiple cakes each day, there were limited options. Air-conditioning was weak.
