The location was the only positive thing. It is close to the train station and convenient for exploring the city. The hotel is very old and poorly maintained. The air conditioning did not work, and I went to the front desk three times to report it. The first time they even tried to convince me it was working, but it clearly wasn’t. They said someone would come to fix it, but nobody ever showed up. The room was hot and uncomfortable, and I barely slept during either night. I understand this is an old building in the historic center, but the hotel needs significant investment and maintenance. For the price we paid, this level of accommodation is not acceptable.

Not much. The way it was advertised was much better than how it was. Said AC. Every other hotel we were at had AC, except for this one. We had to ask for a fan. My mom ended up paying for a completely different hotel to stay at because of how uncountable she was.

The location is the best part of the hotel. situated close to the Train Station AND the central historical areas. The room was a good size for Europe, but we paid to get the larger room. We had a room with a balcony that gave us a great view. The breakfast was good, but Italians need to learn to cook American bacon (crispier), A great addition was the rooftop bar with a menu. The staff was helpful and professional. Before we confirmed our stay, we contacted the hotel and were told that the AC was operational and all was well. The day we got there, we checked in the lobby was hot, so we asked again, and were told the AC was running but couldn't keep up. Our room was not terrible but wasn't comfortable for sleep. At some point during the next night, the AC failed completely. Around 1300 the next day, we were told the service had restored the AC but apparently not enough to recover the room temperatures. The AC issues made the stay very unpleasant. We had higher expectations.

I would not recommend staying here. The rooms are extremely hot at night because there is no air conditioning. Every day, the staff says they are fixing the problem, but nothing ever changes. The issue continues day after day, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. This was a very disappointing experience.

The rooms was clean and the hotel was pretty and in a wonderful location. Super easy access to the train and all of the city centre. The AC went out one night

Central location near Train Station and all sightseeing areas Rooms were small

The hotel has wonderful historic character and a great location, but a serious sewage backup created an unbearable smell during my stay. The staff were kind, but the issue made the room impossible to enjoy. I hope the hotel addresses this quickly, because the building itself has so much charm. Good location. Common facilities were in good shape for the value. Breakfast was solid. AC wasn’t functioning, best they could provide was a small fan. Would not recommend for anyone travelling in summer. Musty odor in unit.

I think the room we stayed in was near the janitor closets and those door were slamming starting fairly early in the morning and we could hear them clearly.

It was extremely close to train station and the view from rooftop was nice. Drinks priced very high for amount and quality The shower was old and needed a make over. The WiFi was weak and breakfast was ok.
