Il Malaspina

Simply perfect, this hotel has everything a hotel should have, location is great, no need for bus, and the staff at reception is very welcoming and friendly. Rooms look good, are clean, cool (perfect to stay during a heatwave) and breakfast delicious. There is nothing to not like.

Super kind people are working at the hotel. I haven't felt such hospitality ever in any other hotel.

Super cute and clean I didn't like that I couldn't control thermostat. I stayed during a heat wave so it was a little warm. I was told if u wanted to go down below 2 you could but needed to ask someone to do it for u.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Il Malaspina. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was great for exploring Florence.

Quiet, clean, new, spacious room but bathroom a bit tight and towels kept falling to the floor, incredible staff, varied breakfast - loved the pistachio croissant, location walkable to convention center, main station, duomo, and other sightseeing, situated across a park and some sort of dead end so it’s quiet, always a taxi available in front of the accommodation, great wifi, spacious closet and shelves, clothes steamer available in the room

The location is not perfect, but isn’t bad; you can walk to the city center in 15 minutes, The hotel is placed al Piazza della Indipendenza, at night the surroundings are plenty of homeless and de Piazza is with a lot of trash… as most of the city. The A/C in the room didn’t work really well and if you want to set it cooler or hotter you have to call the front desk staff and ask them to change the temperature but it didn’t work as it should. And the last day when I was packing I was barefoot, and my feet ended up really dirty and covered in lint. There is no bar staff available the service is provided by the front desk

Perfect location for one night before leaving on the train or taking the tram to the airport. Both are close and walkable. Absolutely wonderful staff..Thank you Sarah. Clean, spacious rooms equipped with toiletries, coffee, great big fluffy towels and a delightful breakfast display. Highly recommend
