Gorgeously and elegantly decorated, the hotel is full of charming historical character. Rooms are supremely comfortable with amazing views. It’s absolutely impeccable in every way. The hotel features gorgeous, refined decor full of historic charm, super cozy rooms and incredible panoramic views—it’s basically impeccable. My only gripes are the pool shuts way too early, plus the breakfast doesn’t have a wide selection. Other than that, I have no other complaints at all.

Perfection. We stayed in the Terrace suite and loved every minute here. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff and service were excellent. The views of Florence lovely. We enjoyed staying outside the crowds and heat of the city and enjoyed the scenic quiet. A 15/20 minute shuttle ride to the historic center of Florence. Maybe one extra shuttle service at night or the afternoon. We had to taxi back to the hotel a few times. Expensive but it was worth the money.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views, great rooms, and excellent service — we really loved our stay. Breakfast didn’t include omelettes (despite having other egg options), and the pillows could be more comfortable.

The property is excellent, and the garden is the definition of Florence/ Tuscany. The staff at the restaurant was confusing, Breakfast isnt included.

This property is amazing. The staff, the decor, the dining, the grounds, simply one of the best hotels I’ve been able to experience. Paul the concierge went out of his way to help us, answer questions and was so kind and responsive. I can’t find anything I didn’t like.

The food, the wine, the staff, the pool, the view, the ambience and the style.......the fact that you are in Florence but you are not : it overlooks the City and is so close so at the end of the day you can retreat to this luxurious location (there is a shuttle bus to and fro into Florence hourly ...... We loved it all.....

This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The magical environment of the villa is topped with great, helpful, friendly staff. The food was amazing. We enjoyed the pool and a relaxing massage as well which were both exceptional. The hourly shuttle service makes life so much easier of you want to visit Florence too. Can’t wait to be back at Il Salviatino! The fact that we had to leave :(

Quintessentially Italian. Extremely relaxing and beautifully presented. The only thing I’d like to see improved is the pool area and to have a section which is properly heated - it was a lovely temperature for adults in the sun but too cold really for our 18 month old.

Amazing service that could not have been better. My husband and I ran into some trouble (theft in town centre) but the staff here offered every bit of help possible to alleviate the inconveniences and made our stay in Florence so much better than it would’ve been. Dinner was lovely and the ambience was great with a beautiful view over Florence. The hotel was beautiful and stylish with class, and absolutely lives up to its 5 stars! The spa is also a hidden gem that’s beautifully maintained. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Florence.
