Old Florence Inn

Location was amazing. Literally a 2 minute walk to the train station. Our tour groups met in front of the train station which was super convenient since we walked everywhere. There were lots of food shops close to the B & B. The room had a lovely balcony. The doors going to the balcony had a shade that could be lowered to keep out the light at night and the heat during the day.

Hotel is very close to train station and short walk to major tourist spots. We really liked the electric window blinds-blocking all light for sleep. The hand towels and pillowcases were ironed and crisp/nice touch . Hospitality was warm and inviting. Flora allowed us to store our luggage and when we returned Flora brought us water and allowed us to cool down in his sitting area. Thank you for a nice stay in charming, comfortable rooms.

The location is very convenient to the tram for airport arrivals and departures, as well as convenient to the train station. It’s in a busy area but quiet with the insulating windows. Very clean, and the manager, Florio, is exceptionally nice, responsive and helpful. The towels are worn..My bath towel had holes!

Breakfast

Location walking everywhere! Supermarket down stairs! Restaurant, Mercado, train station 4 minutes walk, super clean, large room , bed super comfortable, breakfast was the same everyday in the bedroom! So do not expect more ! The hop on hop off bus stop was in front of the property so that was great! Our favorite way to see more the cities we visited ? Super friendly! Safe neighborhood! Small elevator but was great for the luggage! Dim sum restaurant next door was very yummy experience! In general I would recommend it! I wish the breakfast was less sweets, a sandwich of cheese and ham will be good, or some fruits, fresh bread instead of a package bread! ? Even so was fruits in the entrance hall

B&B Old Florence Inn is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station and provided a comfortable and safe stay overall. The room was clean and the property served as a good base for exploring Florence. Breakfast was prepackaged items and delivered to the room daily. The air conditioner did not work well enough to keep the room cool. We ended up having to purchase fans to keep our comfortable enough to sleep at night.

There were no issues.

Friendly and helpful staff The location was not what I expected from reading other reviews. I didn’t feel safe going out by myself. I heard the traffic from my room all night long.

The continental breakfast was good. The room is crowded for three adults. It also stays very warm, even with the A/C running.

The breakfast is pretty weak.

So comfy & cozy with old world charm & hospitality. It felt like staying in a friend's lovely home. Could not be more convenient directly across from the train station as well as the Church of Santa Maria Novella. The Duomo was within 10:15 minute walk - just perfect! Elisa was so kind & helpful N/A

Close to all attractions Too old building, too many stairway for elderly.

Location to train, cafes, tourist sites. Quiet room. Air conditioning was perfect. Really really old amenities. Tiny shower. Sketchy part of town. Breakfast was instant coffee and pre packaged sweets.

The place is clean and it is located close to the Firenze stn. The lift which is small so if you have a lot of luggage and you are a solo traveller it can be a challenge to get to the upper floor.
