Wow I was so impressed with this location, the kindness of the host and the very welcoming environment. To top it off it was a record breaking heat the days I was there, absolutely smothering to walk the streets of Florence. I am delighted to tell you the air conditioning in the hotel worked perfectly. It was cool and comfy with the mattress not to hard or to soft and black out curtains that allowed me to sleep like a baby. Don't hesitate to book your stay, it really is a jewel that's very close to all the major attractions. Nothing it was perfect.

One of the best properties to experience Florence. Perfect location, clean rooms, well equipped bathrooms and friendly staff and owner. Even though it’s an old building it has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. They also maintain unlimited supply of water, soda, beers for their guests to use. The best place we could have picked for our trip to Florence, will definitely stay here again if we go back.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, loved the location and having a balcony to sit on and relax when taking breaks from sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked everything.

The location was great easy to get to from the Santa Maria Novelle (SMN) train station . The room was nice very quaint and nicely decorated and we had a great view of the river. However, the best thing about our stay was our host Francesco! He was so hospitable essentially welcoming us into his home. He made the BEST limoncello spritz for us each night Nothing! If there is one thing to note the lift is very small but that’s it. Everything else was great.

Beautiful design place I keep going back every time I’m in Florence. It’s worth it and Francisco is amazing.

The rooms are comfortable, large bed! Coffee machine in the room with excellent coffee. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful view of the Arno River. Loved that we could walk to the museums and so many great restaurants. Loved the generous happy hour. And the staff and especially our host Francesco were so friendly and took great care of us. Can’t think of a thing!

I loved staying in this old palazzo on a busy neighborhood square. Francesco and his staff are warm and welcoming. The small balcony overlooked the Piazza Goldoni, and I enjoyed watching the comings and goings in the neighborhood. It's not difficult to walk from the main train station or to any of the major sites from this location. There are lots of restaurants nearby. My room had a Nespresso, beautiful linens, and a lovely bathroom. The room was a little small, and might be too cozy for a couple, particularly those with large luggage.

Excellent location and staff, extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms and reception are very quirky and filled with amazing items. Francesco and team were very hospitable and would help with anything. The aperitivo was most appreciated, and the views were great.

We had the most amazing stay at Residenza Vespucci and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone that asked. The owner is fantastic and extremely helpful.

The rooms are beautifully decorated in an eclectic style — elegant, artistic, and full of character. You can really feel the care and personality in every detail of the space. Everything for guests was thoughtfully prepared. The bathroom had many amenities already provided, including toothpaste and bathrobes — something you rarely find nowadays without having to ask. At any time, guests could enjoy a coffee or take a bottle of water, which was another very thoughtful and generous touch. Francesco was always ready to help with any question or request and clearly cares a lot about his guests. If I return to Florence, I will definitely try to stay at Residence Vespucci again.

Great location, 10 min away from the train station and historical center. Nice-size room, comfortable bed and everything you need is in the room. Amazing addition was a balcony & a view over the river.
