Rivoli Boutique Hotel

The cleanliness of the bedrooms. The breakfast they served every morning. The white balls of the Pool seemed a little bit dirty.

Staff, room, and location ? Nothing

I loved the bar staff, very friendly towards my baby everyday made us feel at home. I believe the bartenders name was Amillo. I didn't like that my room was extremely small knowing that I had a baby we could barely move in the room. We also didn't have a tub, which that was unfortunate especially that they knew we had a baby under 1 year old. my parents also stayed in the hotel. They had a bathtub and their room was much larger.

Very close to train station but not close enough to have too many shady people around. Beds were very comfy, AC was excellent and front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Can be a bit loud in the morning on the ground level with people walking by and talking outside hotel room.

Breakfast was good. Location very convenient to train station and historical places. I think its need to be remodel. And when you in the room I can hear other people how they are taking shower or use toilet.

Great location. Window was nice. Very nice shower. Comfortable bed. Beautiful hotel in general a nice garden and good art. Breakfast area was nice. Breakfast food was only ok nothing special. Room wasn’t super big and the walls were super thin but this is normal in Italy. But I could hear the people in the room next to me and anytime someone was in the hallway.

The room layout was really nice and the balcony/terrace was a gem! We loved it. The courtyard and bar were the best! The only drawback we had was when we were leaving early for a full day tour and we went in to grab a few pastries from the breakfast room (breakfast was included in the price of our stay) and my husband got yelled at by a woman who worked in there because he was grabbing a few pastries for us to go. He was yelled at in front of other people eating and had paper napkin ripped out of his hand. He was so mad he wanted to change hotels.

We loved the setup and the service. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The location was excellent!

Almost 0 soundproofing. I dont know if it was the walls or the ventilation system but damn you could hear everything. Also a strage thing was that the AC was defaulted to 17 degrees Celsius with option to close it or increase to 22. The issue was that when you would leave the room, the AC was auto starting at 17 degrees and when you came back to the room after some hours, it was freezing. This could be a "what you like" for US travelers I suppose. I had to leave the window opened a bit so the AC to not start when i left the room.

Location is ideal. Close to train station, easy walking distance to all city sites and without suffocating crowds. Piazza Santa Maria Novella is lovely with very good trattorie surrounding. It is kind of overlooked by tourists. Hotel restaurant is excellent. Helping and caring staff throughout. Shower stall was a bit small. But the hotel is in the historic district, in a building with a long past. It is comfortable to live in Italian history for a week.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The whirlpool outside was nice, we wished all the bubbles worked, but one side was operating! I can’t recall the bartenders names. It they were EXCELLENT. They went out of their way to make us and our children comfortable. It’s less than a 10 minute walk from the train station which is convenient if you’re walking with luggage. The lobby is a bit dated, it would be nice to refresh it so it matches the beauty that the rooms offer.

A lovely and unique hotel set in beautiful building with vaulted ceilings which add to an authentic experience. The room was beautiful, very comfy bed and lovely shower. It was well located, close to the train station, major sites and directly opposite the beautiful officina of Santa Maria Novella.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was fantastic, especially the shower which was so relaxing after a long day! The location worked really well for us as it was so close to the train station and we really liked the Santa Maria Novella area. The breakfast was just okay.The same items were served everyday. While there was a lot to choose from, there was no gluten free bread or baked good options. We wished the pool would have been open a little later the evening, it closed at 9:00.

It is an excellent hotel with a friendly staff. Great breakfast. A very "classy" hotel.

It’s Close to the city center, and there’s an Irish bar just down the street.
